Alright this is the method im doing right now:

Mine 5000 Coal. Buy 5000 more coal at the GE. Also buy 2500 Mith Ore at the GE. Smith all the bars. Then make full mith sets and then sell on the GE.

OR

Get a members subscription. Buy Steel bars and make Cannonballs.


Which method is faster? Do cannonballs sell? I calculated the numbers together and i think i would need to do all of process #1 12 times before i reach 85. Using one of RuneHQ's calculators i would need to do make:

97,320 Cannonballs and thats 3,476 trips.

Im thinking cannonballs would be faster. Any input would be appreciated! :)

Method 1 would be faster if you make mith plates

but even faster would be to smelt gold ores with goldsmith gauntlets if your a member and then sell the gold bars to GE

Whats the goldsmith gauntlet? And how does that method work? Do you buy the ore from GE?

97,000 cannonballs seems like a big number but i would think that would be the fastest way, cuz all i would be doing is buying steel bars and then making the cannonballs. Not mining 5000 coal and then smelting and then smithing.

never do cannonballs for training, their experience isn't that good, and besides, it takes FOREVER to make just the four from one ball. Also I tried to sell once, took about a week, so yeah… but' it's your choice.
