Here is a brief introduction.

We dont use DTM's. Item Recognition is all internal using Color. Scripts just need names or partial names of the item they want to do something to.

We don't use find color spiral. We use HeatCluster which is basically Image Picking out Color Range of the object your looking for. Unlmited Ranges, Each different color pixel is given a 127 to -128 color weight. Positive weights are used to find the center of a object. Negative weights are used to seperate similar objects that we dont want to click.

We don't call methods to check for randoms in scripts, randoms are handled in a seperate thread except some script related randoms like combat and rock gas.

I've used Nexus before, got some more advanced features in comparison to SCAR and it's very easy to script in too.

i have tried to start scripting for iBot but due to the fact that ur forums are VERY messy i have always quit because it takes 30 mins to find a tutorial is good. Also the setting up of iBot is horrible. Took me 1 hour last time and i deleted it in the next 30 minutes. But this time… im sure ill start with something small, maybe a cooker of somekind.

Btw.. does iBot detect animations? Like KYAB does? GetAnimation == 138.
and does it have any other fancy tools i know it has tile walk.

Just click Download iBot pro 18.x and if you got the auth it will give you the option to download, if you don't it'll say that your account doesn't have the privileges.

I ran the cowfighter included in the Scripts folder, and i couldn't get over how slow the HeatCluster thing was.. And worst of all, it doesnt update as the object moves… so my character sat there for 10 minutes, performing the heatcluster thing looking for the cow.. It would find one, but by the time it reached that point, the cow had moved… Quite disappointing. I'll stick to SCAR.

no.. the problem was that instead of using the extract button i had just pulled it to my desktop which did something to the files. BUT it works now and im happy ;) currently running a tut island script its a bit messy… lit the fire thingy 4 times…. annoying!

itschris917 – what script are you running exactly,, the scripter has to add the heat cluster for it to be used.. try running an impminer v19 or the essenceminer.

i tried to code a fighter… so long i made walking and some fighting and lumby detection etc.. the only thing that bothers me is…. the imports how do i know what i need to import?!

yea, then just run break; to get out.. For you paths are you using aryan web? I Just successfully tested varrock -> seers on the web(it used the boats and went to the bank to get gp to get there)

iBot Lite is free to use. 2 weeks should be enough time to fill out a contributor application. More time can be added case by case.

Any AryanWeb modifications needed for a scripts just ask me and i can move the web, add to it etc.

Alot of the scripts need alot of tweaking, since heatcluter is realtivly new, i just made a general cluster for all things and never tweaked them. Gendemon will be tweaking the heat clusters.

You dont need any java experience to make,modify,extend a heat cluster, it has a development tool, with zooming color picker, debug paint etc.

At the vary least you should gain some insight into how we solve problems, we both solve common problems just different ways.

Also we accept contributions to other projects like jmacro, rsbot, scar, moparscape, etc aso reaons for contribtor.

Also we have a 50 slot vent if ppl need vent space.

I've tried iBot but didn't like the fact that I got banned at random times for random amounts of time, plus community is kind of yucky. Scripting wasn't too rewarding either as there was no challenge in it.

I think you've got it wrong, the scar noob. Their contributer rank is kind of (I use that loosely here) like our SRL Member rank, kind of like when SMART was Members-only. You need to be able to script in order to become a contributer, and I believe you need to continue to script while you're a contributer to keep the rank. There's no buying and selling of iBot auth keys necessary. Plus, as a contributer , I believe you get a free copy of iBot Pro.

GoF - if you use proxies you account can get banned by a cookie, just clear cookies and you should be able to login.

P1NKY - If you make scripts and release free to the public you can get it for free.

Method - our contributor rank is to reward thoose who contribute to the project. most people get it on nexus scripts but there are many other ways.

there are tuts at RSCheata and it's pretty easy to make scripts to work with Nexus btw :).

not os much releasing them on rsca, more like contributing to general to rs2 cheating.

To become a SRL Member i believe you have to go thru a process and contribute somehow that is why this being offered.

Well, I'd become a contributer if it wasn't so easy.

I think I made a skeleton for a miner that would be sure to work in like 30 min.

Although scripting for NeXus and SCAR is to accomplish the same goals, IMO Scripting for NeXus is a lot easier. Using Eclipse helps TREMENDOUSLY because it almost writes the script for you lol. I've gotten two guys from below level 20 to over level 90 combat with Nexus, and back in the good ole' SCAR days accomplished just as big tasks. So both SCAR and Nexus has their strengths and weaknesses. I'm not gonna say anything about the community's because I don't want to be choosing sides cause I have over 1500 posts at each, and I've learned so so so much at both, and not gonna lie I could really care less now seeing as I'm not active in the RS community anymore lol.
But if you're wanting to try something different and learn some Java, give RSCA a try. Its not as bad as you think, promise ;) And it'll be the funnest way of seeing a slightly different way of RS cheating and learning some Java while your at it.

when ever i press run the command prompt comes up and nothing happens? im using vista if that helps.

i dont get a chance to add a bot. i hit run to try and start nexus and nothing happens. im 99% i installed it right. i might re download it this afternoon/.

I am not trying to steal any members. Lite is a pain to develope for, This is for thoose that wanted to try to script in nexus but wanted to use the real verision. The users in this section have shown they have some sort of skill which qualifys them under our contributor apps guidelines.

But, i did some research on iBot. And it seemed that most randoms aren't solved. I heard that it was run by it's self , but also the scripts need to include em as well?
And i couldn't find a good wcer :(

The randoms that arent solved like maze, mime. the bot loggouts.

The only random a script has todo is ent/whirlpool/gas and anti-fight. API is there for it to be implemented easily.

Geno, I know very little about iBot's finding methods in depth, but isn't it just a regular color bot, no shape detection? If so, how do you find the correct balloon animals?

we use to use an edge rbg cluster function to detect objects ons creen now we use a heat cluster where colors act as gravity and some things can be negative and others positive,, so lets say you want to fight a goblin but stay away from the water edge

I know it's only one account, 50% chance to be true or not, or that's what I consider it to be.

Maybe RSCA should start working on antiban, I see it's a good bot, but randomized walk paths are pretty much it for antiban…

And i see iBot being a LOT better if it had a brighter community and all, and if they made the whole GUI of the iBot a look clearer/ easier to look at.

It's alright… I might have mis understood a part of your post. :)

I have used iBot or whatever you want to call it before, theres really nothing to it. Theres multiple things that have driven me away though – ugly interface, having to pay, realizing its not much better anyway.

Until you can prove otherwise on those points, I still think its not the way to go. Those who've said 'its way funner' that SCAR obviously haven't scripted it that much, all the scripting is is overloading some functions. I once made an autominer for it…
