Hey and thanks for checking out my VEM Miner and Banker! This script will mine either iron, copper, or tin in the Varrock East Mine, then bank at the Varrock East Bank! It is runs very nice, and I will have a great proggie for you soon!

Setup

Setting up is really simple. Just fill out the const's and press play. Fill out the player form. For those who need it spelled out to them:

• Wield pick: Obviously if that char is wielding the pick…
• Switch Worlds After Sleep: will switch worlds after taking breaks. duh :P
• Members? Is this char a member char?
• Loads at a time: Amount of loads before switching players. recommended 5-10. RANDOM IS ADDED.
• Max Wait: Maximum amount of MILISECONDS!! to wait before clicking next rock. MILISECONDS!!! meaning 1 second = 1000 ms.
• Loads Before Sleep: How many loads to do before sleeping (taking 3-10 min naps. Good for single players. Also good if u set the Loads At A Time high.)
• Which ore: LOWERCASE!!!!! (iron tin copper). pick one. lol

Tips and hints.

• Dont make the max wait less than 4000. 4000 is usualy only for rune picks. Try timing ur player on your own to find out the max wait time.
• Put picks in order from greatest to least in your bank. It withdraws the first one it comes to =]
• Only mine iron if you have a rune pick, or its at night. Theres a lot of players mining iron and if you have a pick under rune they will beat you.
• Remember: Computer color set at Highest(32bit) true color and all your players have the brightest settings.
• World switching and breaks are great for antiban! Try to set breaks to about 5 and world switching to true.
• If you are going single player, definitely set the Loads Before Sleep to 5-10. This will keep your player running longer and smoother.
• Enjoy yourself while this script is running. Remember, please post your progress reports. If you find ANY bugs please post them here so I can fix it :)

Known Bugs

None, except it may lag a little finding 1 DTM above the mine. Thats it so far!

gets lost pretty often

Don't know why but my SCAR crashes when i try to play the script..anyone getting this problem either?

Where does it get lost usualy? I would love to know ;)

@Zlakata, it crashed because you dont have the SMART fix. Look in the SMART section for that fix.

The other problem isnt my script I'm pretty sure. For the file access, try saving the script in your scripts folder and restarting scar. =]

Does your character get stuck in the east varrock gate? both of mine did rofl! I'm making a fix for it now ;)

• Fixed a walking issue. Shouldn't get lost now!
• Added better proggies (x10 :P)
• Added some other random stuff
• Screenies will now save so they wont get saved over again. Makes sure you can see every screenie =]

omg sweet you updated it i love this script i have used it for only a few days and i got 1.2k ores :D i wish i could learn how to make these but i am only in grade 7 so its hard to understand :P your rocks ill get you a proggy soon it will be the best xD

Very good work mate, looking through it see some very nice code…….

but if you plan to apply for members with this is think you should try and use more of your own functions, like with the autocolor ect… it would help alot when applying as there are lots of ACA and tarajunkys functions in there

i had to monitor it throughout the whole process because (i think its just me) whenever it sleeps then i have to manually get the blinking typer thingy to reappear so i can relog back in…plus bunch of guys with rune picks pester you with their 'half-second mining of iron' skills lol so it is slowed a lot

sometimes it mines a copper lol
it goes a lot slower during the day here
i dont see any real bugs it just kind of goes a bit slower if there are a lot of people…(so its flawless? O.O )

EDIT: got the new version…expect a new proggy in a couple hours lol
EDIT2: was stopped by inactivity…sometimes you have to get the blinking type thingy to reappear somehow…usually works by pressing that windows button between ctrl and alt

-i get logged out right outside the mine…you get this message:

It does copper + clay too but don't show them. Also, it stops randomly and I have to reset it.
One more thing, how can I make it faster? I takes 20 minutes for 1 load, I can do that in about 5…

Umm, first, what clay? VEM doesnt have clay. Second, it takes me 2 to 50 mins. lol. Also i am working on speed atm, but its not that slow :S

• FASTER MINING! Yup lots faster!
• Better gas handling! Now will only move a little bit away instead of far. Also will autotalk something.

Every time it says I don't have a pick, but I do. I've tried it with true and false on the pick in/out of inventory, and before you ask, yes I had it on low detail, brightest. Please help.

What kind of pick? That would be helpful too :p

EDIT: My thoughts is that it would be the PickDTM. Ill look into it, maybe it was the latest update offset the colors a bit? idk im making a new one even though mine seems to work fine.

log on the real runescape and click low detail then turn the brightnes all the way

This update is pretty nice. I updated the pick dtms to be more color changing compatible, and some nice eye candy, plus there was a bug in sleeping because when i changed a var's name i forgot to change it for the sleeping so it would never sleep lol.

hey cheese ive been using masterkills ownage ve miner its currently up to the 1200th ore mined in one proggy and has mined me 5.5k iron in like 2 days

the only problem is that when the pickhead comes off it doesnt even pick it up let alone reattach it. ive lost about 60-80k cuz of this. not too big but hey, its money. im gonna try urs soon, but does ur script reattach or even just pick up the pickheads?

It adds randomness. So it won't always do 3 then logout. That would = ban xD Random is good, but ill lower the amount of random.

Its very closely done. I'm just testing more than usual because i rewrote the code to be cleaner and compile faster. I shortened it a couple of 100 lines lol. I'm just making sure everything is a-ok. Wont be more than 2 hours for sure.

You should also add an option for dropping. It is good for level 10 and under miners so they can get fast xp.

Its still going, this is much faster than the old one, and 5 minutes a load is insane

Oh one detail i forgot to mention:

Now supports f2p AND members together. To do this:

Fill out the boolean in the form when it starts. Perferably GROUP TOGETHER the members and the frees. If you are using smart when it switches from members to f2p and visa versa, it WILL RESTART smart. Don't be afraid this is normal, and it has to be done. :D Goodluck and happy autoing!

I'm gonna be completely honest with you… this is probably the best script i've ever used… i'll have a progress report for you later. really good job, you should be proud.

Doh i had a progress report of about 1.5 hours and 512 ores
but i started the script again and it got erased

one player mined all the ores but
the next 4 got stuck in the same place and went inactive
the place is the road to the east of the mine (its really close)

this is (in my opinion) the better script out of MK's VEM and this one. it has sleep time which makes it run for so much longer. keep forgetting to post porggies but just got 60 mining with it. now im jus waitin for a working guild miner >.<

multiplay doesnt seem to be working for me i set to 10 loads each and put loads untill sleep like 1000 cause i dont want to sleep and ite just kept on going on the first player

didnt get the best proggie, it failed after about 2 hours, one of my guyz got the book of knoledge random, and i dont know what happened to the other, when i looked in the morning, it was on log in screen and the guy had 1 ore in his inventory when he was next to a rock, didnt seem to be a problem, i also got an out of range error when i came back on line 1067. hope this helps, im running it again to see if its ur problem or mine…

i dont understand , what should i set as loads? say i set 3, after its done it it will keep the player active or false? what should i set as loads???

Nic I set loads to like 50 because then it will do 50-55 loads and take breaks in between. Three loads would get you 81 ore then be done..

cheese you should make it switch between players after they done about 5 loads, make it run heaps better.

well its easy :p you just set the loads to about 5 then make it when loads are done NextPlayer(true) :o, lmao be cool when you have it out could run for a very long time, also some times it gets caught in the switching worlds screen.

• Added a mining failsafe so if your player doesnt find the rock its supposed to mine, it will walk to the center of the mine :D

1) I think it feels and looks rather conspicuous to click on the colored part of the rock. It might do some good to make it move around more.

hi.. i was using your script (its veeeeery good i can say) and when it reached lvl 41 in mining i closed it to put a rune pick on my bot.. then i moved the script to a folder.. opened it again and changed the account settings (the ones the user enter), pushed start.. and it didnt opened.. when it was saying opening smart.. the script was closing.. plz tell me what to do.. and what setting to have… (i used to move it again at the previous place and add the previous settings but nothing…)

Edit: I also got sent to the frog's swamp, it didn't handle that random (I mean talk to the frog). I also keep getting my newbie miners stuck at the rat, and they just keep running away, and coming back, running away (etc).

Its supposed to keep the player true, but are you saying IF it gets lost it keeps the player true? Because it definitely doesnt do that for me. :p

Both got lost, wierdly, as both were extremely close to the mines :S

Its the change in the servers yesterday. Smart is having trouble loading some worlds. I'll update it today with the new smart setup. Sorry for the inconvenience. BTW Check out my proggie thats still going!:

Well, it happens to get lost when it walks to the mine. Gets lost right next to it, you can see the minimap icon etc. Worked great before, now it doesn't for some reason. Awesome script.

ive got 2 problems with the script:
1. Big problem to me because it switches worlds even when i set *switch worlds* to no(false) but it still does.
2. it only runs when its in the mine, perhaps it could run when it is on the way to the mine? i know its no big deal but it would make it mine loads faster…

but thats just my feedback. i was hoping for this to be eliminated in the new update because i found these in all your previous updates but hey, you can ignore me if you want but thats my feedback.

Np :p Also I might add a run when its walking to and from the mine, but its a LOT faster in busy worlds when it is able to run while mining. I might just add (If run energy is > 40) or something. Thanks for your feedback ;)

The auto coluring dosent seem to be working on version 5.6 but it works on 5.4 so please fix.

Umm i told you guys the autocoloring is screwed up till the new SRL release. I'm really trying to learn all about autocolor so bare with me here :p

It seems to do perfectly fine with me though so thats weird.

Updated to 5.7!
Here are the changes:

• If the autocolor fails going in mine, it will click mining symbol instead. This way it shouldn't get stuck anymore :D
• Added some other failsafes here and there.

I did one inventory, then it went to the mining spot, but stopped again at that spot, it couldn't find a rock and logged off ( didn't click pickaxe spot :/ )

Did another 3 inventorys, and it did the same everytime

I'm not a pro scripter or w/e but it didn't said anything when it didn't click that pick axe sign or something

I just tryed it again ( Who knows it was just me or something ) but this time it walked west from the mining place to the wizards thingy and it said: " LostTB2 for user: *Rsname here*

I find this REALLY weird as NONE of that EVER happens to me. Are you sure u are on 32bit true color brightest settings? Whats ur resolution? Were u using smart or non?

Only one problem, I keep getting bombarded with randoms like the Quiz, and the mimes, and it doesn't handle them, it just logs out. Good script otherwise.

Nice dallas! See guys, the script works. It has to be your settings cause idk what else would do that. Anyway I added a new autocolor backup so now u have 2 backups so it shouldnt get lost near mine. Ill release the version later today.

Your latest version has been a bit buggy for me, i preferred your second last update. I've been finding my character in the museum area a few times, and sometimes it will be walking to the mine as usual then just log out for no reason and say it was lost. i definitely think your second last update was better than this one but meh. That's my experience with the script.

This is so weird because i have never gone by the museum or anything! Ugh… Ill work on it.

yeah the first char i was running it on stopped by the dead tree north of the mine and it thought that it was in the mine so it picked the colors already and was searching for rocks on the road -_-

no leave ore name small, and make sure u spell it right. Some weird bugs goin on for you guys which weirds me out because mine is running perfect.

Great script! I ran it last night and got 5 lvls (on a 50-60 mining character)
I'll post the proggy down below.:spot:

I have only one suggestion: When you run it with pick equipped it still counts each load as 27 ores (instead of 28).
Maybe you could add something in around the line 1727,1728 area.
Or you could a call constant at the start thats 27/28 depending on the wield pick option at player setup.

Just a suggestion, tho. Great work!

I would also suggest to clear up what you got to fill in the form, because I kind of got confused with Loads at a Time, and Loads before Sleep , since both look like the same.
So you could add a little explanation in the script somewhere :spongebob: also with Max Wait, since I didnt understand what do I have to enter there, like if…2000, or 2 , or what :confused:, so Would be a nice improvement clearing up what people has to enter In the form :D

Loads at a time means how many loads before it switches players. Usualy set to 5-10.
Loads before sleeps means how many loads before it takes a nap. 5-10.

Max wait is maximum you want ur char to wait in ms. Minimum should be 4000 and thats with a rune pick. Just find the max it takes for your char to mine a rock. =]

My characters are having trouble logging in. They log in the first time but then when it goes to sleep it will then try to log in and click on existing user and then hit cancel. It does this repeatedly.

Okay i fixed that problem i had a extra character in the list that was blank. Now it stops just north of the mine and sits there trying to find the iron but it wont find it. I have to manually move my character down to the mine. My character stops like just above not very far.

It is getting stuck right outside the mine for me too. I tried different worlds and I am using rev 16 still. So I don't know whats up.:confused: I will try some different things.

EDIT: Darn, forgot to copy the proggy :/ But anyways, it ran for 6 hours (one char) mined about 2 k iron ores. Went from lvl 31 to 47 mining ;) Ill run it tonight too.

I don't know how i fixed the problem were my character stopped above the mine. All i did was re download and then i changed Iron to iron and it is working perfectly now. :D

UPDATED! v5.9!
Fixed the problem with it being outside the mine. To prevent any other problems like this in any script, please enter in things in LOWER CASE letters. Like: iron, tin, copper, and any other option. It shouldn't matter now, but just in case always enter in lowercase unless told otherwise. Also added some more antiban :D

Who cut the cheese?

Nice Script man. keep up the great work. I noticed though that my computer lags just alittle after it clicks on the iron. Then it clicks again after it is already in my inventory. This wastes a couple seconds each time which means that it doesn't work well with a lot of people around. But it still is very good.

I like this script :), and i think everyone should give it a try, i used it for 7 hours mined 1.4k copper and 968 tin flawless and it was still going when i looked, i accidently closed scar and lost the proggy but this script worked heaps awsome. good for if you want to level your mining to 60. one thing i could suggest is an auto responder.. but apart from that Very nice. looking forward to more releases from this guy.

It will respond to many questions and statements, it will yell at people that trade u, and it will yell at people calling people noobs. I've seen it get in flame wars many times and then resolve it by saying "lets all just mine now…" :P It will not (should not) repeat the same question by the same author twice. It wont respond to itself. This responder is not a cheap p0s that spams over and over (or shouldn't :P). So far in testing, it seems like everything is working at 100% level.

I was just looking in previous posts that someone said something about the counting ores…

I have only one suggestion: When you run it with pick equipped it still counts each load as 27 ores (instead of 28).

I was just thinking, in my sript I put in this..

Total:=Total+AmountDTM('inv',OreInv);

after there is a full inv or just before they are about to be dropped; or in your case about to be banked. So instead of putting a defult number in, it is actually counting the ores.

YOUR 6.0 MINER. It's a lot faster, and manged to beat this level 73. Very nice.
Only problem is that.. Nope. No problems. A recommendation is to add a world switcher after every nextplayer or something.

Anyone know when cheesy is getting his site up again? or if it has been found and banned or something? its been offline for about a month now….

Can I get a direct download, or copy/paste, of the script? Because the downloader that you attached isn't working. The debug log turns this up, along with a bunch of file/web access windows:

When i try it always fails to connect everything allowed and connection good whats the problem
