Alright i have my whole gameplan ready to get me to 85 smithing. And i was just banned so ill be doing this manually.
So whats faster:
Mining 5000 coal or mining 2500 mith?
I would mine the mith on a very crowded server in the mining guild so the respawn time is only like one minute.
I still think mining 5000 coal would be faster… but im not sure.

I'd say coal. Mith is rarer and harder to mine. You can definitely get 2 coal in the time it would take you to get one mith.

Yea i would definitly would go with the coal. It also depends on your mining level. If you wanted to then you could do the mith rocks a little slower than the coal. If it is like 70 and under just go with coal.

With jukkas guildminer coal is much faster. Plus mith is pretty cheap now in GE…

Coal is faster not only for mining time but also due to availability of ores (more coal) and faster respawn time.
coal in mining guild..
there are a lot of ores available..
why not auto it=O

I also would go for the coal in the guild. Not many people in there nowadays, and with 83 mining you'd go pretty fast. I used to manage at least 1k coal a day in the weekends in the guild (I'm also 83 mining now).

But if your going to be doing it manually, mining that much coal could be done in a bit over a week if you are student on summer vacation ;) Or just have some free time.

How about Using JuKKa's miner and make it also mine mith, you would get both…a lot more coal tho, but still you would get mith.:spongebob:
