We all know that SRL is an open community full of friendly volunteers and what not, but who's to say that Jagex employees don't just come on here undercover as noobs and get us to help them. They can see right into us, getting us to help them understand they way we auto and certain techniques we use. It surprises me that they don't just watch this forum for our breakthroughs, so that they can better defend themselves. If they wanted to stop us from autoing so bad, then this should be the first stop on their list.

If I'm wrong, and they do actually do this, then they have some of the most oblivious people ever working for them. How hard is it to go on Google and look for runescape autoing? They could knock us out in one update if they took the time to research us. Luckily for us though, they are as dumb as a post.

Not really, Autoing isn't exactly easy to catch. Why? one word, Random(). If you start approximating then you run into the problem of catching people who really aren't autoing, just have no life. That is bad for anyone's business.

Now simple scripts, they can and do catch, but ones with a bit more flair are hard to catch. If they really wanted to harm autoing, the best thing they could do is…. Yeah, if they are reading this I don't really want to give them Ideas :)

My point exactly, nothing is stopping them from reading posts or downloading scar and even some scripts. They have access to our arsenal to create countermeasures for. Yet their detection methods are still flawed.

Im just saying, there is one sure fire way to pretty much destroy autoing, it is surprizing they haven't done it yet. Other then that, my point still stands, with their current setup, it is nearly impossible to detect a good script.

In a sense, they could. It is just the matter of fact that with great scripts rhey can't tell who is autoimg and who isn't. They have seen us counterattack many obstacles thrown at us. They have stopped botting but they haven't and can't stop real botting! They hurt the game pretty badily these past couple of months, they thought they stopped it all. All they did was tick off legit players and stopped the abusive level 3 account botting. They don't want to put new obstacles up in fear of legits not accepting it and us countering it.

Why would they waste their time learning to script. They have knocked off the autoers that were posing a problem and causing credit card fraud and stuff. They don't care about YOU!

I think they would know, JAVA is a lot harder language to learn than Pascal.

Dude's there are jagexx 'spys' out here the laugh at us. they just search in our scripts for stuff to change in rs its true private scripts always work much better.
if they are coded right, let them laugh.

simple jagex are here but if they dont contirbute or script they never gunna get srl member maybe not eithen get junior so they will only ever get the old/free scripts which by the time they stop us using we sre 3-4 steps ahaed

They can never ban you for posting an pick or proggy with your name because they need evidence so they will flag you, and markus dont be so mean to them to give the name of your level 3 nubbie.

Well, people who use SCAR to auto is only about 5-10% of all the autoers out there, so yes, they do come here, but they concentrate on other types of autoer more. Btw, unfortunately my RS naem isn't Dude Richard, someone else had stolen it already, but Jagex I have an account called dude r1chard, but I'm not teing you if I auto on it or not :p

Jagex my runescape main is named leon5587. I generally use wood cutting scripts, or autofighters. Cutters are durring the day, and fighting at night. They're not gunna do anything.

When we make scripts for runscape, we analyze the game.
When runescape makes cheat protection, they analyze the cheat.

Um I can't find the old Rules, The ones that are happen when you try to register but I do recall them saying that we shouldn't dis Jagex.

If I were Jagex I'd be amused by this community and not really hold anything against them but really watch to see how long it takes to combat they're updates.

@Hermpie I think they can use information of a screenie or a cookie that says you visited this site even to ban you which is exactly what they did to me since i was on vacation away from my computer. (during the vacation)i just loged on to RS for a sec to check stuff and then checked these forums. 5 days later i log on and find out they banned my acc for 10 days. So just be careful. :/

Makes sense, I'd have to agree. Check out what we stand for, respecting Jagex (to a point) and legit players. The other botters out there are a lot bigger of a problem than us
