So, it's been a fun time. It all started 15 years ago when I was born. I shortly turned 20 and realised I had aged too fast, so changed my age to 12. Soon after, I discovered the wonderful world of drugs. While high on low grade pot, I made a RS character and completed the entire game within 2 hours and by then realised that it was in fact garden weeds I had smoked. I then decided to take over the world, and that plan is currently in full swing, so you may want to be nice to me, but my ant army needed an easy method of controlling, which was when I scoured the internet looking for something to click on the same spot on my desktop for 3 hours. I soon came across Scar and decided I might as well learn something new, so I started leeching lemons and sold lemonade to fund my coke addiction. Soon after I got bored of coke - mainly when they raised the price of a can to nearly double what it was before - and decided to learn Scar instead. At first I thought Scar sucked, but soon I discovered that it works much better when you have your computer turned on and it all went uphill from there. Within 3 days I had mastered Scar, then suffered from a freak accident and forgot it all and left Scar forever. If you're still reading now, then go away as you shouldn't be. If that last sentence didn't put you off, then please continue. I mean it, continue reading. Read I say! Read until your eyes bleed! Anyway, with that out of the way I can continue reading my mind until it bleeds too and I run out of words to make up! So, I left Scar for a couple of years and came back in late 2007 with very little memory of Scar and found my way to SRL from rogue sites full of pr0n and Runescape. One I arrived, I set my eyes on learning Scar simply because it looked it interesting and challenging. By now I hadn't played RS for many years. I quickly became fairly accomplished and with little to do decided to focus on helping people. Soon afterwards, I beat up an orphan. Shortly, I then became a midget and found it quite easy to head butt people in the crotch but it was not meant to be as I quickly discovered the effects were only temporary. I then died, came back as Lucifer and got into members. It was quite an interesting day - it was actually the day I had to sit my modular GCSE science tests. I then blended into the background and slowly turned to stone.
Anyway, enough with my back story and time fro my front story. Although I haven't had much help with scripting over the time I've been here, I have met some great characters.
People say that you should never meet your heroes as you realise they are normal people (mainly Yakman). It turned out true, but for the best. I think that often a barrier is formed between normal members and administrative staff on forums, and I was quite pleased to break it - with lots of aid from IRC.
The first I would like to mention is Yakman. He is forever knowledgeable and fun and always up for a good debate on the IRC and probably one of my favourite people here :)
Another is C0de - I always thought of him as quite a serious guy, but chatting to him for a bit made me realise he really is laid back and up for a laugh - the best example of this was with the huge elaborate prank played on Pierre (called himself Jagex and got owned) :p
Next on the list is Wizzup? - I did learn one thing very quickly from him - never disrespect StarCraft or he will hunt you down and maybe smother you… Other than that, he really is a good guy all round and was especially fond of my bomb IRC bot mod and could very well be a major cause for bots being banned from the #srl channel ;)
Everyone else - I don't want to mention people personally from here as there really is too many and the ones above are extra special. The mesh of characters is what drives me to continue and I regret losing a single person from this community as it is one less idea, opinion or joke
