Coord Clicking NOT Wrong!!!

ShowerThoughts

Many people think it is wrong! but it isn't All those Find Stuff Dtm's Bitmaps in the end they use coords, Don't use coords is much said to newbs that is good because they don't know what they do.
I yet saw a thread about close bank the x doesn't move so coords are perfect!

Just wanted to point it out, because coords aren't wrong.

yeah but bannable :)

ShowerThoughts

2008-05-05 15:54:08

it is not banable. Then would be 50% of SRL banable.

Coord clicking = clicking the exact same point. I'm sure they use coords with randomness for the 'x'. It's mush easier to say "Don't coord click" than "Don't use a preset co ordinate to click on things without randomness" :)

ShowerThoughts

Coord clicking is not wrong because coord clicking is the same as coord clicking + randomness

lol dude ive got banned looong time ago from making my first script which was coord clicking (draynor willow cutter/banker)

and i got banned about 1-2 weeks
and its maybe not coords but im 70-80% it was :S

Hermpie, you're obviously confusing coordclicking with what people usually mean with it, "Static coordclicking".

Coordclicking is what we do. We just process data and up with a coord. Static coords are if you set your script to ALWAYS click at, example, 100,100.

Coordclicking is what everybody does, humans and bots alike.
Static coordclicking is very bannable because no human is capable of clicking one place, moving the mouse around for 10 seconds and hit the EXACT same spot again without lots of luck or practice.

I Knew that to that is what i am trying to explain :D all those beginners think coord clicking isn't good even an srl member made a thread about closebank;

I would have rathered if you didn't start flaming me. But either way, criticising other's scripts when yours has gotten so many banned isn't really fair is it?

I would have rather you not called me to this thread, period, nor fight back.

But to be honest, do you really thing it is my fault? It is because it runs so flawlessly, and it has been ran over 12.3 YEARS, in under 0.7 years. So seriously, it is just users abusing it for too long. Anything you run forever will get you banned. I'd like to see you make a script that can run over 130 hours on one player, without Remote Control, and not get anyone banned in over 12 years of runtime.

Back on topic plx.

Exactly!

Coord clicking aint bannable if it has randomness.

Exact clicking or static coord clicking like knives stated is bannable.

Dynamic Coord Clicking = Coordinate clicking with enough or sufficient randomness not to get you banned.

Static Coord Clicking = Choosing a Coordinate and clicking it without randomness. No human is perfect enough to do that, and jagex will catch you.

But just because you added randomness to you coords doesnt mean it will not get you banned. We do not know jagex's anti-ban system good enough. It should be used as a 3rd or 4th option as a failsafe.

Firstly, mentioning your name doesn't mean I called you to this thread.

And secondly, whether your script uses coordinate-clicking or not doesn't make a difference, it still gets people banned. Had you actually cared about the bans and such, and not just about hypocriticising other scripters, you would have moved the script to SRL Members, or removed it completely. You decided not to.

If I said "I HOPE SANTA_CLAUSE DOESN'T POST HERE!!1!!1!!1!!" would you keep off?

I do care when users get banned. I decided to keep it in free because so many people have a copy - me removing it would cause mass chaos to my MSN and many users would leave SRL (lots of users told me if I removed the script, they would have no reason for SRL and would move to iBot). I do not want SRL to loose a lot of users.

And I couldn't Agree more.

Santa_Clause

Fine then, back on topic.

Do note that I didn't say I hope you don't post here, and I didn't shout it. I just said that I'd get annoyed if you didn't stop posting in various threads, not this particular one, about coordinate clicking being bannable.

If that's the case, then those users are leechers and are just here for your script.

Also, static coord clicking can be detectable and can't. As long as there is some randomness in it then it is about 60%/100% bannable, but sometimes it can be useful.

2008-05-09 23:04:44

No offense but Hy and Santa really need to grow up. Fight about this on MSN or something… both of you just flame eachother repeatedly and throw in the obligatory "back on topic?" so it looks like you are contributing to the thread. Just end it right now and both of you stop posting in this thread.

Now. My opinion on the whole coord click thing is that it will be more bannable in certain situations over others. Using ONLY coord-clicking plus randomness to walk a distance of 3-4 clicks will be detectable. Think about it… 3-4 clicks all in the same coord box (around 25 square pixels) every time.

However when you use it to close a bankscreen, make a single guiding mapwalk click, or even click something in your inventory it is not detectable. You need to be smart about how you use them and when you use them. People need to stop criticizing those who use the coord click in moderation or even as a failsafe. You can yell at those who use static coord clicks or who use coord clicks with randomness for their entire script… but guys seriously its not that big of a deal. Use your heads and stop nit-picking others scripts or flaming those for having an opinion different than your own.

I think most of the people on here who say coord clicking is bannable just like to make themselves look smart. It's impossible to know if JaGex you for coord clicking, so why say, "Oh, plox d0n't us3 teh uns3ckseh co0rd click3h." Stop being a, as you would refer to, a "try-to-know-it-all". You have no idea, don't act like you do.

JuKKa

2008-05-10 04:16:48

No… No… No! Coord clicking on the MINIMAP! thats bannable. But for example items. They're often only ~30x30 pixels big. Which means when u click 900 times that item ATLEAST ONCE YOU WILL CLICK THE SAME PIXEL! Ok.

BUT on a minimap while coord clicking specially in loops coord clicking is BAD, Because.. STILL if u have a area on the minimap and ur clicking it with 10, 10 randomness, that 10, 10 randomness is not enough because the minimap is bigger than a item, and when u have "played" for 6 hours that 10, 10 randomness is going to be detected.

Hope ya'll understand. (horrible hangover)

This thread is an epic fail because coord clicking is understood as clicking 'pre-set' coordinates, like Mouse(303, 239, 2, 2). Nothing wrong with the coordinates themselves.

You can use this kind of coord clicking I demonstrated above in a situation where a finding method is not needed, e.g closing the bank. Enough randomness will do in situations like that.

To discuss the bannability of your scripts do it on MSN or BBQ…

Naum

2008-05-10 04:29:25

No I think Co-ord randomness is just like radial walk, as the pixels of the road is around 5-8 pixels thick, Have that much randomness and you'll be fine.

n3ss3s

2008-05-10 04:41:58

Nauman… You forgot that the road isn't in the same spot on your minimap all the time, you have a destination to go to! So stick to finding when walking…

Yea but this is a place where there is not autocolor. Like Karamja :(

n3ss3s

2008-05-10 06:11:48

So you won't even bother trying to make an autocolor for that?

You can also use DTMs…

I say it isn't bannable if you use it very less and with enough randomness. But opinions differ so moved to Discussions & Debates.

items are like 30x30…why would that be too much? even if you put the statics in the mittle of the item, it'd still have +-15…

I think he really means how clicking in a set spot and searching for something in a set spot are really the same thing.

For example, this is my auto-alcher I use. (I stay on and talk in clan chat or something.)

program New;
{.include SRL/SRL.scar}
var x, y: Integer;
begin
SetupSRL;
repeat
if not FindColorTolerance(x, y, 3195184, 705, 325, 725, 340, 10) then
begin
WriteLn('Did not find potion color, stopping!');
WriteLn('Please relocate your mouse and switch to the correct screen.');
repeat
Wait(1);
until(FindColorTolerance(x, y, 3195184, 705, 325, 725, 340, 10))
end;
Mouse(710, 338, Random(5), Random(5), True);
Wait(20+Random(10));
Mouse(710, 338, 0, 0, True);
Wait(2500+Random(1200));
until(IsFKeyDown(12))
end.
