Thoughts? He's borderline begging here, which is against the rules and the manner in which he is doing it is very immoral by this boards standards. I saved his thread, in case he tries to edit out what he said. Personally I think an infraction, for being a douche, would be in order.

I don't think there is anything there enough to give him reasonable infraction for begging.

Maybe not for begging but he deserves an infraction for sure. His attitude is way out of line, maybe its just me though

No it's not just you. But unfortunately from what i can see there is not enough of one thing to give an infraction for… since we don't have a "general attitude" infraction :(

Where have all the other active admins been lately… I only see Wizzy all the other ones seem to come way way way less then they used to…..

Lol @ the warning :p You can give him an infraction for backseat modding, and he needs to get kicked back in line.

I agree with Markus, I used to do "heavy-duty" backseat modding and amazingly survived without an infraction, but I'm pretty sure that ain't going to be his last "un-official warning".

As much as Harry is my friend I simply have to say a few things.

I think with the success of his extremely simple script, he has become greedy for rep and donations. He thinks he is well-respected by admins and mods because he has two balls of rep, which is simply wrong.

And the donations… If you're making a script for donations and rep only, you're not scripting for the right reasons and you should simply stop. And it's not exactly like his script is so extraordinary that it deserves donations.

But I asked Hy a few days ago, if he had a Membersaccount I could borrow. He offered me a PIN but sadly it didn't work. Maybe he is good enough on the bottom… We simply just need to stop him from being high on his own success.

What mainly me about that thread is that he only made the thread to get commens like 'plz ur script iz so gud', 'nooo plz don't move it', 'noo plz keep it junior cuz it pwns'…
So, don't add the poll… He just wants to feel like some uber scripter…
I used to like that kind of comments too… :p

Of course everyone loves being told those things but still if hes fishing for them..?

On the contrary, I respect someone who can find the courage to tell everyone their entire rise to success was a lie.

Hy is immature and obnoxious. He's probably going to be more obnoxious in the future too. But, I don't think he should be banned or given an infraction yet.

As Wizzup? said Claw pointing out his mistake was probably enough. I know I didn't realize right away how obnoxious asking for donations was; perhaps he didn't realize either.

I can understand it though, when you work hard on a function and don't get any feedback at all. But this one was within a day, I believe.. that's a bit too quick :p
