Edit: I saw Timer use it once, I think it is /login.php?'+username+'+'+password+'.php or something like that. Doesn't Kane have a guide there when you make an account there on how to use it?

Harry, this is the right section, SRL Help is the same as Scripting Help except for in the SRL Members section if you haven't noticed.

If he wants to get helped, here he might get some help, in scripting help, there would be just few registered users posting

Nah, I think it was a misinterpretation. Santa was asking what P1nky wanted to use it for, and Hermpie though he was asking what an auth system was for…
Anyway, I'm guessing Timer helped you, in which case it would be nice to post the solution here, though I'm guessing he just told you how to make GetPage send GET variables by doing GetPage('blahblah.php?user='+username+'&pass='+password'); Then checking the user and pass combination against a database you maintain on the site you host the php page from or against a preset user and pass combo set on the php page.

actually pinky didn't even need to work on the database or php files because he used some other dude's website:p

I think they used php authing, no? Summilion does, I think.

php is a must when authing so you can compare user and pass information against a database of users, otherwise you have to have the details somewhere inside the script which means there would only be a preset list of usernames and passwords ;)

To be really honest, it wasn't such a super auth… (Don't hit me Sumilion) ;)
Like Mixster said, you must use PHP and MySQL's DB.

You can always just make a scar script that attempts every user and password combination until it runs of course :)
But that's cheating in my opinion ;)

Its called brute force. and after he released the code I laughed at the auth system(zomg don't ban me pl0x) and its simplistic. When I almost made a script it connects to the script in 2 different places, two different websites, two different times. Plus a crap load of random If (S is the code from the auth site)
