I was banned for macroing and it is pretty lame.

They say I have conclusive evidence, and when I ask to see it, it says I am unable to view the evidence.
Bullshit.

I sent them a message demanding to see evidence.

They send me this back

same here. my lvl 103 main.

I have just recently, last week, started playing runescape again and my accou
nt that is very old and has had member many months, and still currently does,
gets banned. You have gave no evidence or proof and just all of the sudden b
anned my account. I have no idea of what reason the account can get banned fo
r. Please show me evidence or unban. I have not disrespected the terms and co
nditions.

we have all lost accounts, it is no big deal, and definitely nothing to wine about. just move on.

You should have been smart enough to know they can't show you evidence for macroing as that would not only have to be a video clip, but would also give you insight into their "macroing detection software". That has been mentioned here before as well as on the runescape main site. And since you really were macroing, it is not bullshit but a very good bannage.

This exact same thing happened to me, i told my friends and they died they were laughing so hard. JK… (I hope) :)

Unlucky, Jagex can be very harsh sometimes, I think they always respond like that though.

stopped reading right there because if you got banned for rule number 7 then its your fault and no one else's. yeah jagex can be asses when it comes down to being banned but its you who decided to run the script. :)

i lost my main once, then the appeal got denied. Then i threatened suicide (i really wasnt all that upset rofl) and the last chance ban appeal got accepted :P

Auto unsigned; always reload the RS client before signing onto your main. If you must auto on signed, clear your random.dat (or w/e it is nowadays) before signing onto your main.

If you want to make things easier and you have two computers, designate one computer for autoing-only, and another for legit-only.

Not foolproof, but will keep mains/important accounts from being closely associated with your bots.

I still think my way works :P

ive been autoing for a long time for ridiculously long hours each time i did and havent been banned yet..

Some households share a common IP sort.

Ex: all computers in my house are like (changes to new .XX ending if I reset my router):
XXX.XX.XXX.65
XXX.XX.XXX.64
XXX.XX.XXX.66
XXX.XX.XXX.69
ect.

So using 2 diff computers (I tried w/ laptop & desktop) but no proxy will still be a connection. I've Verizon for my ISP btw if any1 is interested.

Its always just an automated reply, they never actually rea the appeal, they just see what type it is. If you get banned for 10 days, just leave it, its only 10 days. And maybe this is your calling to stop rs?
