isn't it doing what you want? I'm kind of confused…because it seems to being doing what your trying to do. The print out is telling you that when A = 3 those values of X are when the 2 values multiplied = the one value…isn't that what your trying to find?

I would suggest adding brackets in the if as I believe Scar will read it differently to what you want e.g. instead of (3 * 5 - 1) being ((3 * 5) - 1) you may end up with (3 * (5 - 1)) where the first gives you an answer of 14 and the second 12 :)

scar follows the order of operations

end.

answer = 13;

Boo! Bad example :p. That problem is written in the order of operations already.(multiplication then addition).

WriteLn(IntToStr(4 + 1 * 3));

Answer = 7

I mean, if it prints out so many outputs, I need to find the corralation. It means that A = x some operations.
