no its that SMART spawns onto a world and they know it and they ban you right away:(
i suggest stop using SMART…

This has been discussed before, SMART does not cause a ban. Besides, I'm currently operating on SMART, and I'm not banned.

i hate threads like this. you autoed, you autoed badly, jagex saw you, you got banned, you're complaining. if you think its SMART getting you banned, then stop using SMART, but it isn't. any time you auto, the chances of you getting banned are really high, especially if you abuse it.

Just keep in mind that most of the time a ban is caused by the script or 'abusal' of it, meaning that you auto the same thing for example automine in varrock east.
But, if there is a post made by some 'official' person, like if SMART would become detectable and should not be used, BenLand100 would make a post saying so.
If ScarScape became 'outdated' like that, most likely Sythe would make a post like that.

That's usual.. Just use well known and good scripts, and if you don't like them you can always make your own ones :D
Oh and the proof you posted.. Obviously they say every kind of tools etc. are not allowed as they don't want to leave any holes in there, incase there'd be some sort of exploitation.
