Yakman told me quite some stuff of his updater broke.

I'm pretty sure quarters always posts his output. But Ben would probably be a good person to get the updater output from.

like come on, thats when i still thought "getCameraCurveX()" was a good name

some of those names just make me laugh, like "getLoopCycleStatus()"

ill carry on giving out updater logs and all that, but it is a really unstable solution for you

couldnt we piggyback on ibot
i mean, connect to their webpage and use the vars they find

we could say, "we're thinking of making an updater and uploading the logs, we have writen the SCAR-end of it which parses the website, the updater isnt finished"

you could shift the blame away from the admins by having an easy-to-access constant in the script, then say "omg, its not our fault the SRL members made that constant point to ibots website, what a coincidence that our updater-log-format is exactly the same as ibots"

^^ thats only if the ibot people find out, if they dont notice, and noone tells them, they never need to know…

if we do go ahead with this, make sure you dont start putting pressure on them to update it, or if you do, say you need it for your copy of ibot :)

Who is going to tell iBot, this updater log would be used for the SMART version that is SSRL and above.

Uhm, why would we need iBot's output anyway?
There are plenty of updaters at mopar's. It is just a pain to update hooks.scar by hand, plus (for me) it is rather complicated, as I have no knowledge of the rs client.

AFAIK, there's a quite a few. Relatively sure none of them are in working condition, but I bet they'd be great to learn off of.
