I installed FireFox on like 100 comps? and I only got a warning (after two years -.-).

That suspension thing is epic. Good job. To be honest they should have firefox anyway.

I once got a detention from school 5+ years ago for changing the windows clock time to japan. Apparently it put the computer out of use for the whole day because it was out of sync with the server.

i have installed cs 1.6 on all school computers havent got anything for it yet.. lol

my friend copied all his songs from his mp3 (10 gb) to the school hard drive and got a warning for it nothing more lol..

but too bad u got suspended.

my and my best friend have done so much stuff on the computers but they caught us going this and so they're making up for all the other things

gratz on all the stuff especially the 15m, our school has blocked the use of .bat files and cmd so we cant do that but they have installed firefox on every computer on their own :O. but about the suspension…I almost got suspended like 2 weeks ago because the teacher told me to install some software and I did it wrong because I wasn't paying attention and ended up causing the school tech guy to re-image all the computers in the computer lab. The reason I ended up not getting suspended was because the teacher was supposed to do it on her own so i got off the hook :D

yeah .bat and cmd are blocked, but not for admin (well they are now i'm told), both my friends and I were banned so we told a bunch of our friends how to cause havoc and it ended with two labs being re-imaged and a call from the principal. when they called us in the first time they accused us of a bunch of stuff we didn't do but it didn't matter. they called both of us at home and told us that they knew we had "remotely hacked in and were destroying the internets and computers", I laughted so hard and told him how I had spent the day camping (saturday) and then got my mom and dad to back me up

I remember some program being released where you burn it to a cd and if you boot from it you are logged into windows XP as an admin, I never tried it but I assume it should work

Well, there are boot CDs that overwrite the NTLM hashes completely, and you can set a new password and log in using that, but it's too obvious that a student did it in my opinion :p

I think I can change the C:\AUTOEXEC.bat if I use a fake command prompt and use the hardcore DOS edit.com :p

I line up with you completely right now, I just came from a class and I got sick of hearing the guy behind me talking about something to do with computers that he obviously had no idea about (mind you the other guy was just as gullible and ate it all up :()

:( I get to listen to a kid sitting in front of me talk about how all the computers have virus' whenever they slow down (comp's with like 128-256MB ram) & he doesn't know shit about computers, ++ student accs can't even download stuff.. epic fails, extremely annoying to listen to after awhile..

I was at a church thing (Which I hate) and they were having some computer issues which was the computer was in MSDOS and they didn't know what to do.(Cough type windows cough) Some kid was VERY fast to go right up and tell everyone he knows what to do. Apparently "Knowing what you're doing" includes things such as using IP as a verb, not knowing what an operating system is, and being smug about the whole thing. Now since he knows what he's doing we're all clueless right?

How can you install with a .bat(yes i know what it is) a installer on the whole network (i am more interested in –>):s how can you put it on the user login(all over the network) ?
i know a am newby :redface:

some of the portable apps can be installed using "name.exe -s" so i made a .bat file with the location of the exe file (on a network drive) and the -s for silent default install, and then moved it into the startup list using msconfig
