Smart doesnt even start.

When I open scar with a script that has a smart include, and press play, the scar window just disapears. Without any warning whatsoever. They say im still running scar in processes, but nothing appears. If I open it again, two scar.exes appear in processes, but no window appears either

Any idea why? It was working until yesterday.

Edit: I think once it gets to Smartsetup(??,??,??); , it closes.

I tried redownloading srl.

um i had that error u just add more wait time before calling setupsrl and pauses until smart is loaded then it continues that wat i do when it happens to me

Edit: ive tried resinatalling Scar, deleting the includes folder too…

I have almost the same problem, but my scar just closes, im close to figuring it out, ill let you know.

Mine also isnt starting… After the system update, the script needed to be rebooted, and then it just stopped working. I've tried setting to admin, restarting, checking latest java…everything.

Surely if I was running the script this morning it wouldnt be anything to do with the java?

EDIT: Got working… changed world number…

Scar closing upon trying to launch SMART is usually to do with your Java not being the latest. Make sure you have the latest version and try again. If it still fails, then it try just running a script with only SmartSetup/Ex in it and if it still crashes, it's likely that your computer doesn't have enough free resources to run SMART, so you can try closing background apps etc. and try again. If it still fails, send Benland hate spam and hope he helps/wait for someone else to post possible solutions.

Strange, A script with just SmartSetupEx and nothing else works, smart starts up perfectly. I think my version of forefeathers *couugh* might have corrupted or something. Thanks for the help everybody.

Yep, I redownloaded Forefeathers and added smart. Somehow, It got corrupted in the past few days or something. Anyway, alls fine and dandy, thanks and rep+ to everybody who helped!

What worked for me : changing world number :D
I just do not understand why didn't it worked… (changed 61 to 128)

I have the same problem, and to fix it, I just switch to F2P. It opens instantly

The Worlds List was changed by Jagex. It just needs to be changed by SRL.

i have this problem to and i tryed using the web site that ape gave but im still having problems i even downloaded the fawg from freddy1990 so wat should i do PLZ help

Change the World Id that you are connecting too. "Ams3" works still.
I think thats Amsterdam 3 Server world.

for a fix. Copy and paste that stuff into your worlds.ini folder and it will work again. I just updated the world info on 4/24/08.

idk bout you guys but it stilll isn't working for me. i was using it just yesterday too and just randomly stopped today when it tried to run. won't run any script with smart. i already tried the fixes, and java is up to date

EDIT: Ok found it but now it just says loading smart forever i know i have the latest java and I Reinstalled SRL and Scar to 3.15b so what am i Doing wrong?
