Well after the system update about 5 minutes ago, smart seems to not work, it doesent set up anymore, any care to comment?


TESTING maybe world offline….

It still works for me, but it took like 3 minutes to load :\ (Maybe only because it had to get the updates though)

I've tested a number of worlds.. SMART is no longer functional. The worlds are not offline and the prefixes have not changed.

There must be some other change in the way the URL has been formatted. I'm trying to figure it out now..

my smart always takes some time to load after and update, its normal.

EDIT: seems like prisoner is having the same problem :O ill try myself.

RS is a bit overloaded, and I keep getting messages like download server full etc.
Just wat until it cools down.

On further investigation, it looks like Jagex are having problems with the Update themselves.

I can intermittently run runescape normally never mind having to deal with SMART.

I would suggest that there is nothing to worry about and when Jagex sort the problems SMART will probably work fine again.

Just looking at the amount of people in each world is a good indication that things are still a bit screwy..

The amount of people is because SMART is having problems working ;)
I wonder if the huge influx of people autoing unsigned and downloading the RS applet hundreds of time a week has anything to do with it….
Anyway, the only error I seem to be getting is that it tells me to reload the page, because a new update has come (or something like that), but that could be because I'm using signed (yes signed, I'm only using the 1 char and it takes an extra 4 mins or so to load the unsigned :()

All is fine now with the world of SMART……

There are not enough of us using SMART to have an impact for them….

My guess would be that it's caused by a million (div 10 - jagex liez) nerds going wild trying to get back to RS so their servers lagg.

SMART doesn't alter the client unless Jagex changes the link to the applet it couldn't possibly break…

alls fine now, just jumped to a conclusion too quickly, btw is there any chance that SMART is detectable? because my main has a 10 day ban lol. Its all good though it comes with the marcoing business. Just wondering.

Not detectable at all. It's the exact same thing as the real RS client.

thats right ive been autoing w/ smart for while when i stopped when lights went away (FU PG&E), but when i turnwed back on it had to update took like 3 mins but then worked
