Regarding Virtual PC's

I have downloaded and installed Microsoft Virtual PC 2003 from the Microsoft website. I've set everything up and it works well (except it lags horribly when 2 rs accounts are connected simulatneously). And i was wondering if Virtual PC's are basically like having a completely different physical computer on the same LAN. If so does this mean items can be traded safely?

First of all, VMWare is far better for SCAR than Virtual PC. IIRC when I try to login with both a VMWare window and the regular PC window, I get the 'multiple connections from your address' error, unless I open one signed and one unsigned.

So, that leads me to believe that you will not have any extra layer of protection if you trade between players on Virtual PC.

That said, I regularly trade items between characters from the same comp using signed/unsigned client windows and have never been banned.
