SRL Archive - Outdated Tutorials

Hello people,

this tut will tell you how to download latest srl and scar. DO NOT report any bugs or errors/runtime errors here.

Latest versions:
- SCAR 3.15b
- SRL 4.0



ok let's get started!

to make scar work fine you need 4 things:
* WinRAR
* Latest scar
* Subversion 1.4.5
* srl of course (you need subversion & scar first!)




DOWNLOAD Winrar:

*you only need to download this when you don't have it yet!*
this one is very simple; click this lovely link:

download and install.



DOWNLOAD LATEST SCAR:

this one is not hard to; go to this link:

download latest scar and install it.



DOWNLOAD SUBVERSION:

oki, an other download and install; but this one is a lil harder! luckely there is a nice tut for it!

DOWNLOAD SRL:

ok this is the hardest one!

open your latest scar and go to:

Tools > Options

a form will pop up like this:

follow the steps and a DOS screen will pop up, if every thing is working then it'll install srl for you.

once again:
DO NOT post any errors here.

NOTE:
A script might only work when you have the correct srl and scar version, so always double read the thread of a script.

I'm glad it helped you, I had allready posted it on sp0rk-eh, but some friends of mine where happy about this easy way of installing scar and srl, so I desided to post it here to to help other poeple who are not sure about what there doing :p

this is what i get when i download the srl version from tools and options.

"couldn't move the plugins from the SRL folder to the plugins folder"

can u explain to me what i should do? because everytime i run a script i always have some type of error

if you get could not move plugins, it means you did not instal rev properly. Try re-installing again. If you have problems again, PM me and ill give you instructions. (dont post here, i probly will forget to come back!)

I Don't mean to sound like a noob or anything cause im kinda new to SCAR and stuff i still havent been able to get it goign (all my fishing guild scripts are outta date) but do you have to do this everytime you open scar after you closed it?

I was wondering, when I click "Check Revision" how come it says the there is a rev 17??

Try searching the forums for your problem. There are sereral awnsers posted somewhere.
