So the idea is that what if we some how got enough money to buy the right's to the word ____________.So that way when ever someone on TV uses it we sue their ass or they pay us before hand! Of course a lot of this money would go toward srl-forums!
Supposidly Gene Simmons did this and bought the word OJ!!!(So that's why he is rich…)
Thought,comments,questions,concerns?

This is legal?? Even if we did buy the rights to a word though, to go to court over it would be a total waste of time, I think.

yea that is a good point, but if we can make some money to help pay for our site then it could be useful. It is legal. It just depends how much money it costs.

Seriously like sueing everytime someone uses the word "macro" would porbably be profitable even though it is rarely used…

i dont think i have ever heard the word "macro" on tv…
so we should choose a different word, and someone has to do more research on this…like prices and procedures and stuff
so do tv stations have a big list of words they cant use?
lets buy the word "weather"

And yah it would have to be a more used word but that = more expensive
Still trying to find prices and crap…
