I wanted to make a thread of April Fool's pranks, so post any you have/like here.

I have one:
1. if you live with someone, Put clear ceram(spelling?) wrap over the toilet bowl. Then put ExLax in a chocolate bar and give it to your drunk friend.:eek:

where you pull the string, and there is a loud bang

get up at 5am with loads of party poppers, tie one end to people's outside door handle, and one end to the wall
when the first person wakes up at 6am, he'll open the door and it will make a loud bang, this will be followed by a chain reaction as everyone opens their own door to see whats up.

We dont really do april fools in my area. Lol.. more of an Americanized 'Holiday' Imho, a bit like Halloween.

April the 1st has been celebrated in Britain for over 1000 years and specifically as a fools day since the early 1800's.. France and Belgium have been celebrating it as a day of Jokes sind before the 1500's…

You may not celebrate it much in the south of England but we still have a laugh up here in the north and have done since as long as i can remember and more..

So even though Halloween may have been over coopted, americanized and corrupted April Fools day has not been..

Take a look at the British papers tommorow.. I'm sure you will find at least one story in each that is an April Fools Joke.

you guys don't have Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night either :P

you also don't have The Summer Proms,
or The Queen's Speech at christmas… which is probably a good thing, she's not as fit as she used to be ;)

Haha the party poppers is a good one. last year i gut glue (ya know the like super duper extra heavy-duty) on a quarter, andput the quarter on the floor in my school. The Principle even fell for it ;)

If you live in a dorm at a university or have a very narrow hallway with doors that open outwards, then get a 2X4 cut it to the same width of the hallway and put it in front of everyones door so they can't get out.

I wouldn't try the party popper thing if you live in the US. Considering the shootings that happened over the past year, people will probably freak and overreact.

I'm going to change my brothers alarm tone to some loud machine guns with bombs in the backround. It will wake him up at 3 in the morning!

I unscrewed my moms / dad shower head and put cool-aid in it. we will have to see what happens i guess.

instead of putting koo-laid… you should put life savers.. when they get out of the shower.. the towel will stick to them…

try putting baby powder in your mom's hair dryer….

Over here, in Australia, we have April Fools. Just ended about 7 hours ago. Also, we have all that of what you explained Yak but not the speed.

Halloween isn't that much celebrated over here, but we still do it for fun.

Now on-topic: I like the pranks which are caused by a string being pulled and something falling on someones head.

If you were to spend the time doing this you would find a lot of planks on the floor in the morning and people going about there business confused about where the planks came from. ;) Door open inwards otherwise you would hit your visitors on the face whenever you answered the door! :duh:

what we did was: We have this one board which has notes with important stuff like that. So what we did was we did our own note.. All from the 9th grade can go home due to missing teachers. So.. Like 80% went home :P

I've got to bitch real quickly…. I clicked the link (Being the Idiot I am) and so I got the Rick Rolled thing, I didn't want to have to click okay a hundred times to get out of the message so I went into task manager to end it.

Click end, it not only shuts down the Rick Rolled spam fest, but all my other internet applications, RS, Gmail, etc… To top that off, it also crashed the GUI I use for my computer and then my explorer (Start button, Icons at the bottom, Desktop Icons). Probably caused by me ending it in an unusually way…

This concludes my bitching, it is the BBQ Pit for a reason.

its past april 1'st but i put a ton of salt in my parents sugar jar. ( they use it for coffee ). now my parents cant live without morning coffee. they thoght something was wrong with the water, so they dumped a freash pot and made it again. same thing happened. they almost called a plumber but before they did i fessed up.
