I've been banned on my main 2 times in the past 2 months and all offences are for macroing and only have 1.3 blackmarks out of 10.\

They are issuing 0.3 marks for Macroing now do to RWT being gone

And in other news they are reducing the random events very soon.

I thought it was auto perm Ban for macroing, Maybe we will rise once again!!

I guess jagex is showing some courtesy haha.

and i looked to see how many marks the macroing added and it was only .3 for each offense.

i cant prove. but its true, you can get banned like 4 times for macroing these days. ask aartje13.

That's kind of nice to know that they are 'allowing' macroers to keep autoing with just a small slap on the wrist. Wonder why though?

but yeah i noticed they reduced RANDOMS! lol with 1 player i get about 20-35 banks in draynor with my script ;P and ran a whole night proggie with 3 players got 103 bankz IN 5-6 hrs. but yeah draynor willows use to have alot of ents and randoms . IT HAS REDUCED dramatically

before, all the 10black mark instant ban was mostly intended to rs demon because of the HUGE amount of people are abusing it, and scar didn't do much. and now that rs demon gone private, they've seems to don't care that much about scar and other autoers

I don't think this is true i just got 5 of my characters banned for macroing just once. Ill show screenshots. brb.

well i this is true on my part..

if they took macroing seriously, a lot of people would be banned.

Everytime you go by the grand exchange, there are tons of macroers. I don't see any problems with it. If you want your message to stick out, go for it!

it all depends how easily they caught you. If it is clearly obvious you are autoing they ban you permanently. Recntly since about november or so they started giving .5 blackmarks for partial evidence and just recently it is .3 black marks if they have little or no evidence and with such low blackmarks they just go by reports.

*ps.- In their post about random events what they are basically saying is randoms will be slow for a little and they will remove many randoms because they arnt stopping autoes. Their plans are to remove the randoms bots solve and to keep the long tougher randoms, when this happens randoms will become more frequent and autoing will be very tough once again.

Well ive seen a load of ppl over at sythe using mta bot. and obvs it an auto and there only handing 5.0 and a 10 day temp ban to most of those users. kinda strange

5.0 is rare but that means jagex is on to that particular bot maybe its the *cough*24/7 running it uses with the rare short breaks *cough*

i have been banned twice on the same account now (for macroing) and only 1.0 blackmarks.

Reason why this, Is because they dont have hard evidence. They think you auto and give you you a small ban. That's why they are going to put in more human-solvable randoms. So we'll have to figure out how we can use interfaces friendly and easy , hopefully to solve them.

I don't have any idea what do people mean when they talk about this rising etc, it's not like we've "gone down" or anything…

This is true, it used to be around 7.5 black marks and a 2 week ban,
now it's 0.5 black marks and a 10 day ban.
This has occured 4 times on my one bot XD

Thats sad. Thats like nothing. You can get an account to like level 40 without it even being close to banned.

Hmm, I don't know about that, I don't bot too often, and the one warning I got was a 7.5.

That's weird, but good for us I guess. Maybe they've realized that there's always going to be autoers out there. They can't get rid of every single one :)

ok didnt anyone notice that after summoning came out that like all people who were perm muted, got unmuted?
and i got back like 3-4 accounts that had been perm banned
i think for one reason they wanted people to be able to talk and trade items for summoning and another was just because they got rid of real world trading so the figured that macroning/autoing wasn't as big of a deal anymore

Thats good news, and also the MTA bot is going downhill, as Jagex mods are now monitoring ingame at the mage training arena and people are getting perm banned. And, two of my RL friends that use AutoHotkey to auto (lol) only get max 1-week bans and 0.5 blkmarks at a time.

Lol… i got 7 bm because my sister stole my account and told someone else to sell their account on ebay… and yet I get 2 0.5 bm for macroing :) I love how they prioritise.

that happened to me too

Well….I've gotten 2 accounts perm banned in that last 2 days, and one was a temp ban :S
So I guess they are just randomizing the ban times :p
