I've been going back and forth to BH, and I have ran into my good share of Revanants, of all three types of combat. I'm a level 50 strength pure (40 attack, 68 strength, and 1 defense of course), and all i want to do is go kill some people in BH, but NO, these stupid hellish creatures must appear out of nowhere, and attack me!

My first Revanant I ran into was a mage. Guess what, the little biatch was using Wind Wave What the heck? F2p can't use wind wave! Unfair advantage? The thing also binded me like, every time I attempted to run away also! Plus, it has an unlimited amount of runes, of course. :fiery:

OK, melee Revs…. they aren't that tough, if you have some run energy. Yeah, they have some power, but they're not too hard.

Rangers. God Dam. Those things are annoying, I must say. Rapid firing with the best arrows they can use…? And yet again, they NEVER RUN OUT OF ARROWS.

Jesus Jagex.. give them some restraints.. on runes, and arrows.. I don't remember people having unlimited arrows and runes in PKing, do you?!

Well.. thats my opinion on the Revenants.. please post your opinion, or how you liked/disliked mine.

I totally agree with you. Not only are they too tough for their levels using members spells etc., but I remember a while back when I was browsing the updates from a few years back, that Jagex said that monsters with lower levels than you don't automatically attack you…Not with revenants…And how comes revs can shoot/cast their spells/arrows at you from miles away? I mean, I was getting attacked by a rev that wasn't even visible on the mini-map…The amount of 'power' the revs have is too much…Jagex, please do something about the revs…

I don't like them either, but you're slightly off about the level thing.

First off, monsters only stop attacking you if you're over TWICE their level. And monsters in the Wildy have always been hostile.

Heh, yeah some times they are very annoyning, once level 126 reverant killed me at mage bank(got mageblocked before aswell)

But that clears nubs from hanging out there, else mining rune rocks or killing 2f2p greater demons would be way too easy.

Yes Revs are awful, even my level 114 character can have a bit of a challenge trying to kill some of them. Plus the worst part is their drops are flat out awful. :mad: I think they drop a charged dragonstone amulet sometimes…:rolleyes:

yeah and dds++ and runes but i have 89 mage and when i go up against a mager in revs i splash alot so does that mean its wearing full Infinity hmm…. and it always seems to hit 12 - 25 unfair much?

Oh and don't forget the fact that they can teleblock and we cant anymore -.-. i can usually take them out if i super atk/str pot, piety, and dds spec them…but really it shouldn't take that much…

Thanks for your comments. Wow, I had no idea they could tb! That makes it even more.. annoying..

i didn't wanna do lvl 3 clues any more because of them, a lvl 63 goblin and 125 ork walk up to me, tbed and hit 31….. and they heal…. wtf…………

Yeah I tend to avoid hanging out in the wild areas because of the renevants. But complaining to Jagex on the SRL forums won't change much :P

Yes I agree, I had a while ago, Jagex need to down grade them a tad bit.

Lakerz, I'm not complaining to Jagex, and I doubt they'll ever fix the power of the Revs, I'm rather stating what I believe, and my opinion. :D

And Smith.. what was the point of posting that huge image..?

yea Renevants can hit 30's from out of nowhere on the minimap, walk though walls, and bind you so you cant run away. Renevants are supposed to substitute people pking right? well these are still too tough especially the mage ones.

I agree buddy , Revenants are shit , one of the worst updates , they suck, I really hate them, I dont know wtf is with Fagex that they keep on doing stupid updates…, wildy was the best thing on the game , but no they had to remove it to get rid of a little problem that didnt bothered anybody but themselves….

when you got 40 (+) defence its easy to stay alive
but they will call you a def. n00b :p
