I am thinking about setting up reseller hosting. But I dont want to start it and then find out no one is using it.
How many of you out there would be interested in cheap hosting.
IE:
$1.00 a month
500mb disc space
5000mb monthly bandwidth
Just putting this uot there so I can get an idea on who would sign up.
P.S - This is not advertising as I have not even created a reseller site or purchased any reseller hosting. This is just so that i can get an idea on who would want hosting.
I don't think its worth it. I've got a reseller site too.

See - everybody is in to it. You need to make it 'look' like you're not a reseller.

Well, its like this. You buy something, in this case web space, and then you sell it at a little higher price.
Merchanting, much?

Is it like where you buy a certain domain, like harrypotter.com, then you sell to warner because they'd want that domain.
And thats why Star Wars was called the Blue Harvest lol

Nope. To quote good old wikipedia:
Reseller hosting is a form of web hosting wherein the account owner has the ability to use his/her allotted hard drive space and bandwidth to host websites on behalf of third parties. The reseller purchases the host's services wholesale and then sells them to his customers for a profit. The certain portion of hard drive and bandwidth is allocated to reseller account. In order to achieve this the reseller may rent a dedicated server from a hosting company or resell shared hosting services. If the latter is the case the reseller is simply given the permission to sell a certain amount of disk space and bandwidth to his own customers without renting a server from a web hosting company he signed for a reseller account with.

Ok, I'm not all that great with websites and things, furthest I've got is to make my own forums using invisionfree. And to make a completely terrible website through FrontPage, that I never published.
