SRL Archive - First Scripts

Hey, I just applied for SRL Member ship Status with this Power Miner. So i figured i may aswell post it up and get some feedback. So, just try it out and please post proggies and bugs and i will update.

Its too simple for an SRL member quality script.

No DTM's, No Failsafes, No AntiRandoms, No AntiBan, No BMP's, No Walking Knowledge, No Loops.

Why use I, Z etc. Just use:

 If FindColor(x, y, 922663, 267, 129, 308, 218)Then
begin
   Mouse(x, y, 4, 4, True);
   Wait(8000);
end. 

Its very basic script, and doesnt use the whole x and y thing either.

And its set to one colour of Iron, so It actually CANT mine anything else.

You should do it like this:

RockColor = 922663;

if FindColor(x, y, RockColor, 119, 204, 885, 707)then
begin
  Mouse(x, y, 4, 4, true);
end; 

So that it finds any rock colour between the Runescape screen.


MAIN FLAW though, it doesnt even encorperate SRL. No SRL functions are used.

Sorry, but this won't get in, I can almost assure you of it.

In tutorial island look for a thread by Cazax called "Your guide to the SRL Members Rank" tells you everything you need to know.

Dont Apply For Srl Member with this script. Its good for starters but patience is virtue.
First of all you dont even have Srl included..

You can add this to your script just by doing this..

NEVER use

MoveMouse(...)

or

Clickmouse(...)

Use These

Mouse(x,y,1,1,true)

and

Mmouse(x,y,0,0,true/false)

You use all these random variables.. No need for them. X,y are globals.


Also, use

FindColorTolerance(...)

Because what your script will do is find that exact color, Runescape changes colors everytime you load runescape up. FindColorTolerance will use that color and make it so it has more chances of hitting the color you specified.

Thirdly.

You do not have one procedure in this entire script. How can you make a main loop without procedures, you cant.


Also i see no progress report procedure so how you supposed to post proggy's?



This script also isnt Guaranteed to run very long, since theres no real failsafes. This script will go untill

t = 3

so what happens when the script messes up and cant do this 3 times.

This is were failsafes come in. You have used them in your script but not correctly. a failsafe is more of an alternative to go to if something in your script messes up. Although you did do that, it just finds another color which isnt promising at all. Do something like this…

So this Logs out if it couldnt find the color, So this will make you less detectable. This is a basic failsafe, One of the ones i like to use are

Forthly

Adding Anti Randoms and AntiBan is a MOST need in your script. Because whats the point of the script autoing if your going to lose the account anyways.

Adding anti randoms is pretty easy, although there are better functions this is the simplest and good for most randoms. This can be place anywere pretty much. make sure you have it in somewere were its going to repeat and not just do it once in the script. The more it checks for randoms the safer you are :D

Adding AntiBan is also a Most needed thing, also its pretty fun making your own :D here is how i made my anti ban, i dont mind you using this in your script, but just credit me.

Yeah, i agree with you guys. I'm not even going to bother testing now. There's better powerminers out there, you have to make yours something different, and unfortunately for you, this isn't. :redface:

KoolDudez forgot to mention that you need to put

SetupSRL;

in your script, you should always put it in the first line of your Main Loop. ;)
