So im getting closer and closer to being able to mine rune ore. So what are the rune ore mining spots like? Is there like 7 people at 2 rocks at all times? Is it worth becoming a member and doing the heroes quest to get into the heroes guild?

Well, when I used to play the spots were usually empty, especially Heroes guild.

Yeah , they are most of the time empty , what is hard is to find rocks with ore available….:D

I havn't mined rune in a long time , but at the wildy , one of the problems were the pkers, but you had to be a real skilled world switcher, now the problem are not the pkers , now the revenants are a annoying problem to mine runite at wildy so you'd better go with some friends or something so you dont die there by the hands of those bloody stupid revenants..:D:sasmokin:

I've been mining rune at the heroes guild rocks for two years now. Typically you will log on and find some unmined rocks, mine those, keep track of the time you mined them. Server hop until you find another set of unmined rocks, then switch back and forth between those servers. Repeat this as many times as you'd like to get as many servers as you can manage.Times for the respawn are between 30 minutes and 12 minutes I believe, these depending on the population of the server.

Most of the time though you will bump into a player doing the same thing or servers with empty rocks. It happens.

As for the wild, it's pretty laid back since you have no worries about pker's, but as someone stated wear some good armor because of the revenant.

i wouldnt mind paying the $5 for a membership but i dont know if i can do the heroes quest. Does it take super long?

Depends how many quests you have done now. If you have all the free quests done thats a good start. The lvl requirements are harder imo.

if you put your mind to it you can make a full load (around 336k) in an hour and a half

im gona write a rune miner /world hopper it will be hard but idk if i make a good one idk if i want to releace it to the publick du to the fact of leechers =X
