Hello, whoever you are :D

Right, now I really want to write a tutorial. However, I'm stumped for ideas. I have no idea whatsoever, as to which tutorial I should write. I'll probably end up writing more than one. For now, will anyone suggest anything?

EDIT: Actually he hasn't refused, just not answered and propably went and coded another Earth using the Hyperbolic functions :rolleyes:

make a video tut. When i was a noob i always looked for video tut's coz they explain so much better.

Are you implying that it's wrong to ask for ideas?

No. Its just if you REALLY wanted to write a tutorial, you would have an idea.

Well, Dan suggested me to do tutorial about canvases, Yeah Yakman has made one already. But that doesn't explain much, I agree at that.

Unfortunately I'v been busy lately, so if you want, do a tutorial about canvases. Else, at monday, or tuesday, I'm free again and I'll do it myself.

And Santy, at least 1 thing whats similar, we both don't want to write tutorial whats already been made. It's kinda pointless.

I want you to write abot tan, sin and cos, cus its so cool! and i dont understand that much in wikipedia (but i do understand sin, cos and tan).

Cos(Sin(bla)) := MoreHumanlikeMouseMovementThanTan;
Tan(bla) := NotHumanlikeMouseMovementAtAll;

Edit:

Open Excel and write in:
A1: "0".
A2: "+A1+0,1".
A3: Copy A2 and repeat down to 40.
B1: "+Tan(A1)".
B2: Copy B1 and repeat down to 40.
C1: "+Sin(Cos(A1))".
C2: Copy C1 and repeat down to 40.

Now mark everything and make a graph, You will see that (Sin(Cos(A1))) is more humanlike than Tan.

Write a tutorial on "How to write a tutorial!" would be good ;)

Seriously, you know what you are good at with scar. If you want to write a tutorial, you would look to see if there are a lot already written on the things you are good at with scar, and if not, write one on that. It sounds like you tried that, you didn't find a tutorial to write on the things you are good at with scar, and now you can't get a cup so you're asking for ideas? (before you get offended, I did say sounds, not implying 100% that that's why you want to do this).

It would probably be better to ask this in the nonmembers section though because if an SRL member had an idea for a tutorial they probably would have written it or posted about it.

But you could write a tutorial on canvases… Not too much on that other than yakmans.

Zytex… Grr… There are two tutorials about that in the tutorial island! Shame on you…

I haven't made any tuts.
The thing I know is, that you just think that you're everything and that you're uber smart, when the tut's you actually make are copied from wikipedia.

You don't explain it in your own words, it's like just "copy-pasting" from wikipedia.

I'm not th eonly one who thinks like that.. remember pwnaz0r?

Remeber a long time ago, when we talked about INI's in forms, for saving info? I don't know if you can bother to find out some stuff about them and then make a tut for it but if you would, it would be great..?

my canvas tutorial left out quite a lot, the only stuff it had was the canvas functions scar gives you, not much on the stuff scar gets from delphi

you could learn another programming language, and if you see something which can be applied to scar too, make a tutorial about that
