The Release of, The New site

Finally We (Check The Staff Below) Are Ready To Release The New Site! PM Me Or One Of The Staff To Get Your Link To The New Forum.

Note:
First of all I suck at writing releases. xD

Note2:
Of course we don't want you to leave SRL-Forums, there is simply no reason why you would, the day is long enough to invest ten minutes into our New (and probably still bugy xD) forum without leaving sRL-Forums.
But we want to be an extra step to programming and we have some game hacking and other funny stuff too(photoshop tuts).


The Forum has these Features(Category's):

• The General Spot
• The Programer Spot
• The Scar/Srl Scripter Spot
• The Gamer Spot
• The Photo Spot
• The V.I.P Spot

We Got:

• Much Tutorials
• Spam Forum (No PostCount Up)
• Game Hacks (More tuts coming)
• V.I.P Section
• Game Editing
• PhotoShop Tuts etc.
• And I Swear Much More (but i don't know what)

Important:
We Got Many Video Tutorials, Some Of Our Own Some not, Pls Register With a Cookie at This Site So You Can Acces All The Tuts Posted On Our Forum, (else we had to download and upload them ourself, TimeWasting And Leaching -.-)


The New Site Staff, This is how it will be :

Admin- Hermpie
Global Mod- Pure1993
Global Mod- Dan Cardin
Moderator- Kelly Slater Pro Surfer
Moderator- Hobbit (Not Official)

Congratulations Staff!

Anyway, some neat things about our website:

• Has a VIP section where my guild miner will also be released (but only visible to srl members).
• The admins and the global mods work their butts of to make this forum better. :D
• Constantly tutorials will be added to all sorts of things, so everyone will find something here!
• New things will be constantly added, we will never come to a full stop.

Hermpie (Hey hermpie, I also wanna have my name there! I edited this! btw: I am Pure1993, not some split personality of Hermpie XD, Hermpie: okay :D)

We might have forgotten some stuff but you'll see it once you visit our forums

To Hermpie: It was about time you released it, but why not use the old thread? this is the third one you opened on this topic. :D

can i sugest a sub forums idea? if i can i'd like to seea ad exchange forum, sence this isof course a rouge site ^_^
in the AD Exchance (AE) website owner would exchange 3-5 clicks of their advertisments *usually pay around 50-5 cents for adsense*
so it'd be a i scratch your back you scratch mine, so you'd go to the person clicking your ad's siten and click their adds 3-5 times, so you'd earn eachother $2.50 to $0.25 per "ae" if you make this, i'll gladly be a admin/mod and use it regularly.

so what was the reason for a new site i think this one is good enough.. if you needed to make any changes why not just make it to this site instead of making a new one

Funnilly enough, this site has been running for years now and is unlikely to change. Everyone knows what they want changed, they just went a step further and made their own forum instead of trying to make the changes they wanted here. If you think this site is all you need, then no one is forcing you to go to their site or even come to this topic.

In my opinion, moderators and administrators aren't to be selected by the need of a moderator or an administrator, it's kinda hard to explain, but moderators and administrators are the people who have taken care of the forums since like… the birth of the boards, even maybe in the beginning without the concretic status of a moderator or an admin. Let's take RAM, tafka RAM_RUNE, back then when I made my first apply, his posts were like atleast two paragraphs always, and that's who a moderator is, because closing topics and infracting leechers isn't even nearly half of the job, more like 30%, so, when a moderator or not always one, maybe more are handling some hard situation, some leaking or scamming case which happened to be the kind of that couldn't be solved just with "mmkay, guilty! Electricate his e-Pe***! ", the 70% gets done by all those questions they had to think more than "where were you last night?", all those searches through other forums if their script was copied.


Now comes the moment I think why am I writing this, I obviously have too much time.


P.S: To the people saying "why to take a non-scripter mod", that's just lame, no offense, Hobbit isn't a scripter, RAM isn't a scripter, there are Moderators , SRL Developers and Moderator/ SRL Developer s, but a moderator is not a scripter, and not visa versa.

Thank you n3ss3s, that is very true. When I first became a mod I was talking to a couple of admins because I was utterly confused why I had become a mod. I can script, not well. There are junior members who can script a thousand times better then me. What I was told was that they chose me because of my maturity(in most circumstances) and the want to look deeper into situations rather than take them at face value.

I'm not afraid to admit I'm not talented at scripting, but does that stop me from helping out and giving all my abilities that i have to people when they need help? No. But I do have more scripting talent then Kelly, so to say I have none is very false.

How am I not active? I risked my job and logged on at work to get on the site while my computer was broken. I had 100% activity for over 6 months straight before my computer broke. I took care of the scripting competition prize bank.
I probably annoyed the hell out of Nate(Mr.klean) by sending him messages from my cell phone asking him to post on my behalf.

To say I am not active or care about this forum is pure _____ing bull______

So much for not taking things at face value huh? Naw, j/k Hobbits a great mod! As far as the new forum goes, I hope you guys do well, and keep it updated. I've seen a lot of new forums go up without a lot of luck so I hope you guys stick with it and work hard to make a great forum.

we got 60 members i think it is not bad but they only talk in the public forum and not in the programming stuff(they do but much less) but it is tah programming spot ;)
