Is SCAR code (Pascal) and Delphi code the same? Because when i see hermpies example they look very similar.

I'm just want to know because i am very interested into learning Delphi (Downloading the compiler now) and i want to know its' difficulties against SCAR.

if you want to make a consol app in delphi its very similar(probably procs will have different names). But if you're making a forms app then its quite different. More click and drag, depending on the application you're making(just the way you go about it is different…if you try and do stuff manually you can easily leave things out and get errors ;)). But the coding is still very close, just the way the procedure looks at the beginning is different.

procedure TForm1.ProgresTimerTimer(Sender: TObject);
procedure ProgressTimer(sender:Tobject);

Delphi is an IDE, while pascal is more like an "empty" language, without much of precoded stuff..

Look, Delphi is pascal with lots of (good) stuff added, like classes, records, units, packages etc etc etc.
Delphi is actually derived from pascal :)
There are only little things Delphi doesn't support, like modifying for loop variables, but that's all I can think of.
Just try it and give it a shot :D

Delphi is registered as Object Pascal as well.

Its OOP.
