at 5:43 GTM -4 (no DST)(same as EST with DST) there were 34k people playing. i dont no just saying. my charting still has a lot of work to go thru. it logged every world but there is no way to see that data yet.

I suppose this trend is common sense really. At 5:34 am (9:34 am GMT) all the American's are asleep. The Europeans are at school. The only ones playing are the Australian because its 5:34 pm and there aren't nearly as many Aussies playing RS than in the US or UK.

I wanna see the peak after The RWT change. I have not seen over 225k in a LONG TIME!

I think 3/4 of the max is U.S.A players. I am one of them, I play all the time on my main legit.

we could really find this out quite easily, someone could make a script to run 24 hours..just get the total playing every 30 mins or so..save them to a text file, plug it into a spreadsheet and make a chart. even though it pretty much is common sense, it would be nice to truly know when it's the least packed

What do you mean we could. Isn't this exactly what he did do?

well i'm not 100% positive, but i think he did it manually, but maybe i'm wrong, i would think if he used SCAR/some other macro-type-tool, he would have more than 3 hours

I don't think so really as there's huge amounts of people playing in europe (not sure about asia) too. And I barely ever met anyone who understood english even remotely well in RS :p

uhh, yea? not knowing english remotely well is what we americans do best :p

no, i made a program in flash that logs every worlds population and adds it up. it has a huge data base with info on every world internally. im looking to send this info to my lamp so multiple people could be gathering info simultaneously. oh and the chatting class was made by yahoo, they have some really nice classes. i only did 3 hours cus the chartting was cutting off at some point ( like after 60 logs), and i was a bit lazy to do chopping code that night.
