i have like 72 wc and still using rune ax. jw if dragon ax is worth it? i mean i can afford it but that would leave me wit just 1m left over and idk i'm stingy haha. well anyways. is it worth it haha?

If you plan to get 75 fast - yes.

I'd be tempted to stick with rune myself actually, dragon might attract some unwanted attention with people asking you about it. When you don't reply you get reported…

No its not worth it. I got 11m+ and I'v bought / sold barrows and d axes and fury's and junk, just to test them. D axe really isn't that great.

btw; My main has 80wc, and 85wc on other account. If you really want high wc just use my Willow Banker, or some other woodcutter.

W00T: just noticed, Willow Banker has gotten over 120k willows and 4.5m exp!!!

Some people claim the Dragon Axe is 10% better.. My own tests put it at more like 1% better..

It is better, but only just.. If you have the spare cash get one (you can always sell it back when you have finished with it) but don't expect to see a huge improvement..

For trees like willows it hardly makes any difference at all, but it does for yews and magics.

IT makes a difference on magics for sure. I just would not get one because I learned woodcutting is slow cash. Make runes instead. When you get to a large pouch make laws and use super energy pots and you can make over 500k or more an hour. 54 a trip with all pouches now that you dont need tele equipment at abyss. Plus you can sell runes so much faster than logs.

In the time it takes to cut 28 mage logs which is around 34 or 35k you could have made 300 or 400 laws with all pouches. Thats 3x the money in the same time.

But if wc is your thing do all the elf quests, regicide, roving elves etc. and get elf crystals and cut the mages near the elf town and tele back to the bank with the crystals. Quickest way.

If D axe's have settled in price already. (They hadn't when I was member). Then buy one and if its not doing it for you, just sell it for no loss.

^^ what he said.. if you can afford it and dont need money to spend on other stuff go for it. i doubt that the price is gonna lower so u probably wont lose out on money if u plan to sell it later on. good luck

haha yea it sucks, its like 2.3 mil and hardly any better than rune ax. just got 75 so i'll just sell it again.

and osmm i do use your script, just not lately cuz i was banned for 10 days and also just cut yews to get to 75 fast cuz it was bugging me lol

lol, yews are slow as hell to level… If you wanted to level just stick with willows. In my opinion, my dwc axe was one of the best buys I've made for a skill, I can see the difference when chopping..

(and it's 15% faster btw)

it's not 15% faster.. it's about 3% faster on magic logs and 1.5% faster on yews..
