how many smarts do you think i can run at once, while still using the computer without to much lag?

here are my specs…
model ( insprion 1525 ( Brand new i just got it today)
processor - Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual Cpu t2330 @ 1.60Hz 1.60GHz

RAM - 1014 mb ( a little over a gig )

and if it matters, vista home preminum

Im at 1 gb ram and i run 2 if im using the computer, 3 if im not.

it kinda depends on what your also doing at the same time

I have almost the exact same thing as you but with 3.0 GHZ processor. And I can only run 2 with minimal lag.

3, max, only cause of vista if you didn't have vista (xp) you'd probably get 4, maybe im not sure, i could probably run like 10 (just got a new comp =p)

Depends on whats running in back, computer settings, its optimali-i-zed-ness ecetra.
I have just about the same computer specs as you, and i could run 3 smarts and still use my computer without much lag.
So at least 3, max 4 =).
