No restarting maybe?

Dear Santa (Ben), I don't want to complain, but it would be very much better and easier if SMART could be used just like the regular runescape client, that you don't have to restart it every time you run a script.

I really don't know if it is possible, but it would be great.

P.S: World peace.

Colorfinding related stuff can be tested on the regular rs client, but the reflection for example, you might need to do a lot tweaking to what you were testing, - wether you forgot SetupSRL for MMouse or had a runtime error.

Thanks.

It already is that way?

What?!

You do not have to restart smart on every run?!

Noo! God noo!

Like… Compiles * 20 seconds wasted of my life

Still takes time to compile every time but you don't have to stop it and then turn it back on.

Like…

I'm talking about this - the following wouldn't work:

Run a script that opens SMART etc.

Stop the script, keep SMART open…

Remove the SmartSetup and restart the script, it wouldn't continue as it did before stopping the script.

EDIT: Thanks for clarifying Markus.

No, you leave the SetupSmart in the script and also the SmartSetDc etc. Just leave SMART open and it will just grab it every time your start the script.

He thought he'd end up with like 200000 SMARTs because every time you call SmartSetup a new SMART would open.

But so if I use another world it opens a new one, right?

Are you saying if you call SetupSmart while a SMART is still open it will close it and open a new one? If so you are wrong. It just uses the one that is already open.

You can never have more than one smart open for one SCAR - Ben's got it protected against that.

no i mean if you change the world (in smartsetup) it will close and open a new one…at least it used to
