I just thought of something, with new coinshare.

You join a cc just as a clan is killing a monster, which would then share the drop with you.

Can anyone check to see if this works?

i dno yeah i think thats how it works.

That would be interesting if it worked, although I doubt it. Something that obvious might have been over looked who knows :p

CoinShare / LootShare is only enabled for the user if they are added on the clan owner's Friends List.

If they aren't added, then this won't work.

nah it doesnt work that way, you have to be on your team's minimap, once you arent, you dont get a share

it only works for certain rare drops.

Here's the Lootshare update -

This week we have added an extra feature to the Clan Chat system: LootShare! By switching this option on, all monster drops and rewards will be fairly shared between the clan members fighting with you. LootShare even remembers if you were unlucky enough to receive nothing in a battle, increasing your chance of being lucky next time!

Because it is based on the existing Clan Chat system, setting up a group is simple. To activate it, turn on the LootShare option on your Clan Chat menu. You can organise yourselves into a LootShare clan beforehand, or you can invite people to join your chat channel in any multiway area. Once organised, you can chat to your friends using the Clan Chat system and work out tactics for defeating any brutish beasties!

The Clan Chat owner can set the minimum rank for anyone wishing to LootShare in a multiway combat area.

After two minutes, LootShare will become activated and you will be included in the sharing of the monster drops. As long as you are within 16 squares of the defeated creature, you will be considered for LootShare!

Summary

* Ability to share monster drops and rewards with your clan
* Fair and even LootShare in multiway areas
* Just turn 'LootShare' on in your Clan Chat menu!

So this would only would if somebody was really stupid and allowed people without a rank to participate in lootshare.

So basically Hy is right, if they don't have you on their friend list, they can't give you a higher rank, therefore unless they decide to let anybody in on the lootshare (which most likely will never happen :p)., you won't get anything.

This may work for a few days, on anyone who is stupid ..

It's 16. Read the Lootshare update I posted above.
