When I unblock SMART I still can't type into it, I can left and right click but I can't type. If this means anything, I'm using Vista.

i'm using XP and having the same problem too. So, he best way… close it

you just have block/unblock a whole bunch!!! works for me! lol, takes like 2 mins sometimes tho, mostly like 3 or 4 cycles and i can type

Umm I hope this is as simple for you guys, but all you gotta do is unblock it, minimize it, then bring it up again and *magic* you can type again! =D

I click unblock block unblock and I can type

i now just do the unblock minimize maximize then try if that doesnt work i refer to the old block unblock, sometimes it takes many tries, like block unblock block unblock block unblock block unblock block unblock TRY if it doesnt work repeat

is there a solution to this thats more quick because now i need to keep telling noobs i was switching my keyboards batteries

i thought it was maybe just a glitch, but obviously other people are having the same problem– so thanks for the tip (mainly Joey who's method is fast)

THe way i do it is pretty quick. OK here is exactly what i do, i dont no if you need to do first steps, but i do anyways:p
1. unblock smart
2. click the start button for runescape
3. try to type
4. type in your scar debug box(where proggies appear etc.)anything i just do random letters
5. and check in your smart and you should be able to type
also, after you do step 4, if you did step 3 then you will see what you tried to type, appear.

It works for me, post a comment if it doesn't work for you.

i just press stop a million times on scar till it works and i can type in smart

i think it might me a good idea for smart to allow you to type at any time… if you end up watching its performance or have some spare time and are watching the script run, it could add a lot to your anti-ban if you could talk to people without interrupting the script… just a suggestion. cheers, moose.

you run a risk of accidentally typing things into smart

Just click a few times, shouldn't take more than like 4 tries.

This one, the minimizing maximizing method is the one I use and always work, I just minimize Scar a lot of times , then click at Smart when its unblocked, of course then it should let you type , I also type like random letters to see if it already appears and leave them there , then I minimize and maximize Scar and then click at smart , so if it worked the random letters should appear when you click…lol i hope you understand what i just explained hehehe well it works for me…:p:p:D:D

omg thank you. i was wondering this for a long time…

actually you can just stop/pause the script ,click somewhere in runescape and you can type >.< not the best way but still i thought you need to know :P
