Hey all Rs players,
A very important question I have for you -

Does the minimap still gradually rotate by itself?

Because after 13 minutes and 33 seconds it seems to have moved no where. However I am not a player, so I need your help :D

I haven't really noticed it moving too much, but the symbols move a lot.

last time i played i don't remember it moving, but as osmm said, the symbols do move alot.

It actually used to move?

I think it rotates when you go into a new area and it has to load. But other than that, i don't think so.

Yea symbols always move, I wonder if they removed the rotation? That will be sweet!

Lol its so subtle that no one normally notices, but yes jagex slowly turns your screen and the minimap, and can even end up facing NW or NE instead of north, and using PerfectNorth will not always work as they actually modify which direction it points, becoming entirely out of proportion with the compass and the main screen.

lol i never rilly noticed but i noticed that the symbols move when you leave the area and then come back but i never noticed the mini map move at all.

The MiniMap has had that little rotation in it since RSC. I got bored & found chatlogs or something from mIRC w/ Andrew Gower talking about it to some RS players in RSC days(when there were like 2000 ppl playing max).

Spam much? I highly doubt they removed minimap rotating…were you standing stationary for those 13 minutes?

Well I tend to just stand in rs a lot because logging in is annoying when testing some thing in a script, and yesterday I don't think it moved itself during the playing, but when I logged in or happened to change area it was usually about 10 degrees off.

Shame we can't build an aligner based on the white lines because it's only a 25% chance we end up to the 90 degree angle we want.

I can confirm that the minimap still rotates.

OK thank you Markus. No, I was chopping and banking yews, so it should have been moving, but I htink after about 20 it was slightly off so yea.
