SRL Archive - S.M.A.R.T. Bugs and Improvements.

When i was updating my EYC script it was always closing after like 3 mins (with SMART). After i added a FreeForm, more FreeDTM + FreeBitmaps and i also cleaned out the script and made procedures using less code.

Now when i run it doesnt close SMART it just skips procedures so i gave up on it.

ANSWER IS: CLEAN SCRIPT! CALL FREEDTM AND FREE- AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!

For some reason doesnt depend on CPU mines a AMD 2500+ and smart uses 100% and doesnt close when i added more FreeDTM and so on.

Well, if you don't free temp resources of course it'll clog up your memory…

Yes but dont free DTM's and bitmaps and then it will close straight away.

I see, I was running famous Harry's cave runner, it ran for like 40 min and then closed -.-

But does only smart closes, or SMART and Scar both?

My caver doesn't use BMP's or DTM's :) Must be an SRL bug/Jagex does something to messup SMART. Maybe the make it so it reloads the Java or something from a Fake Location, therefore closing it (just a guess, like if you load in invalid world prefix, SMART and SCAR just die).

Only thing I've noticed along these lines is that some color-finding doesn't work.

Its just that thats the first example, the other would be with your fight caver. And with some of my own scripts.

Woah, I am not trying to fight with you. I am just saying make your own, and it will be rewarding, and it might work. ;)

so is the smart still unstable with itself? can't we do anything with it?
