What if the iSpy window blinked on and off (like messenger) when there's a new post? Discuss.

Discuss? There is nothing to discuss. iSpy is a plugin for vBulletin made by someone else, not anyone from the SRL forums. I recommend you post your suggestions there, so that they can take your suggestion into consideration
He didn't exactly tell anyone to make it do that, he said what if it did that, not "SOMEONE MAKE IT BLINK! DISCUSS!"… But still, kinda not useful.

Well, I mean, I would like to be able to look at other things, then, when a new post is made, I can tell without having to switch over to that window again. :)

Can't you put that in your sig? Because it seems a bit retarded that you include your nick after every post.
You can subscribe to posts and have them emailed to you when they are updated .

Thanks RAM.
@ GoF - I like to be more formal in my writing :)

Hm. I just don't see the point in always being formal, even in stupid threads :p

Not 100% sure, but you could probably do it with greasemonkey.

Actually it is a firefox plugin that allows you to change websites and inject javascript code on-the-fly.

Well if anyone gets it to work can they tell me how? I always fall behind on iSpy.
I know.
I = Epic fail at iSpy.

GreaseMonkey would really only work if someone wrote a script and then everyone put it into their Firefoxes .. =\
Can't just plain Javascript do anything like that?
Edit: Google gave me an idea :p:
When iSpy updates, just have it change the title between "" and "SRL Forums - iSpy" every one second or so :)

hmm an interesting idea but for people like the administraitor this would be a pain in the ass beause he would have like a billion windows poping up
