FindFallyRoadColor...

Okay, here is the deal: FindFallyRoadColor only works about 1/3 times when I use SMART. Now, I pretty much got rid of that issue in my script, by logging in and out (which re-loads the rs colors), until it has found the color, but this is very annoying, and I would like to know if there is a fix. Now, the fally colors are changing drasticly, from looking almost like the buildings there, up to very deep gay, so there might not be a perfect function, but I would like to use at least something with a 50% chance of success for my script… IS there something like that or do I have to create one myslef?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Stur Pure

When you start macroing:

- Load the rs client;
- Log in;
- Logout; (is Fix the colors)
- Start the script.

That works for me
when you load the rs client every things is to dark etc.

I was having a problem with this but it seemed to fix it's self, also you could do set up a system were it logs in the next player works them then comes back so it's not as obvious.
if you want to create your own then get a 10-100 debug photos and we can look into it.

Making your own will look pretty much the same as Tara's. It works fine for me, just make sure you stabilise the colours by logging in and out once everytime you reload the client.

Yea you could do
 if (not(FlagPresent)) then
Begin
Writeln('Reloading Client')
Logout
wait(800+Random(100))
LoginPlayer;
end;

If it doesn't find the Flag (which if you radial walk it should cilick on) then reload it. e.t.c…

Well, I am using ddtms, not radial walking (radial walk is way to un-safe in my oipinion), and the way I have it is like this:
MiningRockSB[0].color:= FindFallyRoadColor;
But I read through the function, and found that if it isn't found, it returns 0 as the color. So, I will simply put:

If (MiningRockSB[0].Color = 0) Then
Begin
Writeln('Reloading Client');
Loggout;
End;
and on top of every procedure I'll have If not loggedIn then exit, and in the main loop it will log in and start it over. Woud that work?

The first thing to do is to make sure it's a problem with the function itself.

The next time it doesn't work correctly, take a screenshot and save it as a 32 bit BMP. You can crop it down to just the minimap if you want to do that. Then load it up here either as a BMP or a zip/7z file.

That way we can see what you're seeing, pick colors, etc.

alright, will do. And the problem is with the funcdtion itself, because it says: "fally color not found"

Yes, but he meant. Make sure you're screen is on the right resolution. Lowdetail runescape etc.

when you're for example on a 64bit computer, it will not find the road color. and it'll say ''not found road color'', not cause the function is wrong. but cause you're on a 64bit pc. ;)

nope, I am at 32bit, and scar automatically uses low detail I think, so there should be no problem there.:D

i thought he meant 32 bit bmp picture, as in paint you can chose (cant u?) which format to save in, that's my thoughts anywho

Oh well, after lots of discussions and uncleared things, I have decided to (when it happens again), to take a screen shot, save it as a 32bit bmp in paint, and save it here, while also using the right screen options. That should cover everything. ;)

The roads inside Falador are a completely different color than roads elsewhere, so you need a specific autocolor function there.

The same is true for Varrock.

You'll notice when you walk into those cities, the roads have 'thresholds' where the road color changes on the minimap.
