This game is based on the Helicopter game; In which you must dodge the walls or you crash!

{ Welcome To Ball-Escape - Created By XxKanexX..

- You are a ball being pulled downwards;
- Problem is, If you hit the top or bottom edge
- Of the screen, You crash! Burst!

- The Aim of the game is to dodge the brick walls
- And top and bottom edges
- Using the mouse. Click the left mouse to raise
- The ball and click nothing to let it fall.

Press "P" To Pause.

Enjoy!
}

Once you crash you view all your scores and such. Also a lag prevent theory.

If you get bored at Level 1 - 3 waiting for it to upgrade in Speed you can change the Level up the top! Your score will still start from 0, though.

Ball Escape v2
Added gravitational pull. It gets harder to rise the longer you hold your click and you fall faster the longer your click has been released.

Added X Exploring. The ball will now swerve around the screen making it even harder to dodge bricks. It's mostly all the same except timing so you can adjust to the pattern.

The level is now written in the debug box to avoid lag when it is displayed in the canvas.

There is only always small bricks now as big ones were hard to dodge in increasing speeds.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE XPLORING SCROLL TO THE TOP AND CHANGE XROAMING TO FALSE!

Created by XxKanexX - Post any errors!
And Enjoy!

i already posted on the thread in moparisthebest, i just didnt want to read this without posting

iv said it before and ill say it again : its a very nice game, but i think its very slow at the beginning, make it so the speed is as if you've started at level 10

I can't edit my post, therefore i can't update the script. :(

Go to Moparisthebest's forums then "Other Scripts" to get the updated version.

Kane, Hope it ok to screw around with you script… I thought you did a great job, I was just stuck on a movie set all evening so got messing around with your script. I added a little reality to it creating real gravity which makes object fall at an ever increasing rate, I also made the lift (thrust) be exactly twice the strength of gravity. If I had more time I was going to add a flame come out of the butt of the ball whenever you pressed the button.

If you like what I did, I suggest you go the next step and add rotation to your ball, then you can move along the x axis as well as the y axis. You might want to lessing the amount of gravety at some point…

All in all, I must say, Good Job Mate! you did real good!!!

rofl… works great on my laptop… could be due to the 600mhz its running at. For proper 'Gravity' simulation, it should be a function of elapsed time, not processer loops. The main goal I was attempting was to show how to bring laws of physics into the game. Years back I had made a similar game using basic (no not visual basic). The key was to have a constant of gravety pulling in one direction and then having a set rate of acceleration (rocket engine) and a seperate 'X Velocity' and 'Y Velocity'. Its pretty cool once you get it set up… then the next thing is adding black holes (where gravety is pulling toward an object and increases in strength as you get closer).
