I have the infamous error of Smart not even loading. After I do the coding correctly, the debug box will say…
Error accessing file
Scar compiled in ??? ms
script sucessfully executed.

After I changed my includes according to Marcus, the scar takes about 10 seconds to compile. but the same results.

SMART never opens. After pressing play for the second time, scar closes but the process keeps going.

I've already rebooted the comp, reinstalled JAVA, using scar 3.14, rev #13. My comp is NOT CRAP. So it has nothing to do with a slow computer.
Any suggestions?

do you have JRE?

Like I said. I have the latest java. Go read.

THe error acessing file bit, is what i think is blocking you from using SMART

Try going to settings>options

and enable all firewalls to allow all. Then check if your antivirus is blocking SCAR from acess to SMART

Do you use a valid prefix?

Have u rebooted your computer AFTER reinstalling the latest Java? That worked for me… Also, my computer said that I already had the latest Java installed when I tried to install the new Java, but I installed it anyways. So it said I had the latest but apparently I didn't. Maybe try that?

if you followed markus his tut and did every thing wright. then that ok :)

the Error accessing file,, save the script close scar end retry. that does work for me :)

Do you have a internet browser like Firefox open when you start it?

If that isn't File Access Error, go to tools -> options -> File wall and allow all :)
