SRL Archive - RS has been updated.

Is there any client like MoparScape that will allow me to play RS offline? So I can script and stuff without having the dial-up on. MoparScape works, but it so sooo outdated with SRL and stuff.

This may be the wrong section- IMO it was the best one. Move if needed :)

I'm fairly sure it's possible to use the latest deob to make a private server… Try asking at www.MoparScape.org (I'm not responsible for excessive flaming you may receive :p)

I have just come back to the runescape scene so im just throwing out ideas on how to get around the GE. Now you guys are talking about a private server? So the private server would be like an ordinary runescape server with a way less amount of people?

If this were true, couldnt we go to bounty hunter in the private server and not worry about losing anything we want to trade from other people in bounty hunter?

A private server is basically another game. It would be in no way connected to the real rs.

They mean that they want to make a client/server that wouldn't be connected to runescape so they could script without anybody around and no internet. The only thing would be is that your items wouldn't show up in rs, so scripting in the real rs would be preferred.

Hy, if you do end up finding one please tell me. im often on business trips and would like to have like an off-line version of runescape to build my bots on.


Or, if you can't find one i would be willing to help make an offline version.

Well, I tried using google to get the code of the client, but nobody posts the source and I don't get half of what to do after you get the decompilers and deobfuscaters if you try it yourself, the readme's are too confusing for me :p

So in theory you use the Java decompiler to get the code, if it's obfuscated you use the de-obfuscater. Then you have the code, and you can make it into your own client? IMO it seems to easy…I must have soemthing wrong :p

Btw, some people I found on google were making clients that had map hacks and stuff like that. It might be outdated, but it'd be awesome if it could be remade :)
