I've heard a lot of strong opinions about the 2 consoles, here's the place to post your opinions on which one is better and why!

Here's my reason why I would rather have the PlayStation!

What it has that the 360 doesn't:

• Blu-ray player!
• 40gb model is just barely more expensive then the 360 (Which is like 20gb)
• Free online play!
• Built in wireless card, 100 dollars for 360.
• Much more powerful.
• All good games run on both consoles.
• Looks better.
• Rechargeable controllers.

More but I'm gonna go play some TF2.

well I got the 360 but I had it repaired 3 times….. they are not every reliable so I guess playstation is the way to go!

Yeah, my friends 360 broke too.

the 360 is nice.

I would rather pay 50 $ a year to play online than get the shitty connection of PS3.

halo is definatly one of the best games out there… and the way i see it… its not for the PS.

and well for one… I love it that my 360 is compatible with my computer :)


did i mention that if you treat your 360 like shit it breaks… I owned mine for about a year and a half now… play it about on avg 4-12 hours a day.

not overheated nothing has gone wrong…


Plus halo 3 is one of the best games out there.

PlayStation 3 does not have a shitty connection, not at all!
IMO, Halo 3 is an extremely overrated game, its a average game, orange box is much better…

Most good games that you can get for 360 and can't get for PS3, you can run it on the computer.

So my computer poonz noobs, so I can run all pc versions of good 360 games(like BioShock), and on my ps3 I can run games like Crysis (Hopefully will come out)

Yeah, my friend got "The Ring of Death" or whatever that makes your power ring on the xbox360 turn red, and had to get it fixed….But, I got a 360 and havn't had any problems with it so far "hopefully never". But, I believe I like the 360 better cause I have played it many times at my cousins "like 2 minutes away walking" so when he got it I played it quite a bit.

I'm currently deciding on whether or not to get a 360 or PS3, and I'm starting to lean more towards a PS3. From my perspective, I see the PS3 as just coming out of its technological shell, compared to the 360, which has been out a lot longer and has had the time to get worked out. I know that the PS3 is a lot more powerful compared to the 360, and that it also has Blu-Ray. Just my opinion. :)

I personaly am about to change over to the ps3 but to some of the other opions i have owned my xbox 360 since the day they came out. I personally have never experenced the red ring of death on any xbox console. But i do admit that there are alot of things about the ps3 that are better than the xbox but i also have to agree that halo is one of the best games ever made. I own over 20 games and i still only play halo. Personally ( because i have to play alone and all my friends have ps3's ) i would go for the playstation.:sasmokin:

the ring of death isn't really a problem its just an inconvenice that you don't have your xbox for a week or so. Not that big of a deal if you ask me. Oh, and halo is extremely overrated. The only good thing is multiplayer, the storyline is fairly rubbish. I personally own a 360 too, but I would never change to a ps3, even though I might get one just for bluray now that hddvd's dead, but I will not buy games for it. Most of ps3's games aren't full hd (1080p) whereas almost all of the 360's are. Paying live subscription isn't a big deal, after all the quality of the connection is great!

im gona go with 360 just for the fact that the online play is good its well worth the 50 bucks too have a good online system setup and not some shity way ps3 has it and dont get me started about the wii lol. 360 has an awsome selection of fps games but if i had like 5 grand to blow on a realy sweet comp id defiantly have to go with pc gaming as the best cause the wide range of games and you can easily get most of ur games free via torrents and its easy to set up and xbox 360 controller on you pc.

I like 360 better , because of halo , and you can add emulators to it , i dont know if you can do that to ps3 , but oh well, I want better a 360….

Oh and it has Blu-Ray, 360 has HD-DVD and HD-DVD is cancelled.

360. i have the elite. xbox market place, better games etc. ive never had a problem with rings or over heating. xbox live owns. ive had it for almost a year now

in the beginning i would have said xbox 360, but ps3 has gotten over it's initial slow start and is now better than 360. plus u have blu ray on ps3 and better graphics. the only way microsoft is going to beat sony now, in video games is on the next system.

Besides, $600 for a console with $80 games?

the games are the same price as the 360 and the system is $400 with a 40 gb harddrive and you can get the same thing refurbished for $350. 360 with 20 gb harddrive is $350 and many many people have to send in their 360s in to be fixed (:o). I havent heard about anyone needing a ps3 fix :S

Errr… $600 is for what would be the PS3 'Elite', which has many components you would want, but if you buy them separately cost much more.

if you buy a xbox elite its mucho expensive also. But whatever. The price doesnt matter anymore, because they're basically the same. So now we basucally talk about quality, which is ps3 > xbox360

How, in quality, does the PS3 win? You don't even try to back up your arguments.

The thing about the Xbox 'Elite' – All it is is a bigger HD and some of the cables included. It is still only $450, still less than the top end PS3.

you'll see, ;). When xobxes become $50 because they've been replaced and ps3 is still going, then you'll see!! :p

I used to like Playstations better than the Xbox, so wouldn't that make me unbiased? I still think the 360's better.

PS3 doesn't look better than 360 at all, and if you buy a battery pack for ur controller it's rechargeable as well… At least with the XBOX you pay for what you need… 360 4ever!

Yep was xbox since it started, remember first day xbox was out, got it tand bought halo loved it so when the 360 came out boom first day spent 980 dollars all up got some special pack the xbox 2 games, 4 controllers, xboxlive was the best :)

think about it.. 360 has pretty much every game that ps3 has.. if you can name an awesome game that 360 doesn't have let me know.. also who cares about ps3 hd blue ray whatever bs… JUST BUY A BLUE RAY. you don't need an all in one. also you say that ps3 doesnt have crappy connection? that is also crap it sucks nuts thats why you don't pay for it. and as for look? how can you say either is better than the other.. THAT is an opinion along with all the other arguements including mine.. I have played both and i like 360 better.. just me. whoever said halo 3 is overrated? I think PS3 is better because i've never liked the Xbox, but my friend hates PS3 and i'ves Xbox O.o

I used to despise the Xbox, mainly because of it's old hunky controllers. However, now that I'm used to the Xbox controller, I find it much more appealing. Graphics for both systems are pretty much the same. I have no use for a Blu-ray player, but I can understand why some prefer the PS3's for that reason. Xbox has more games exclusive to it, some of which I enjoy greatly (Halo..) The only game I would be interested in thats exclusive to Sony and their playstations is the God of War series. I loved that on the PS2.

So in my opinion, the Xbox is better for what I prefer. I can fully understand why some people enjoy the PS3 more. Obviously whichever one you bought you will say is better..

i say ps3 owns! I kinda want an xbox because most of my friends have one. But i like god of war 1 and 2 they are so much fun to play! If ps3 gets some more games on it then it would destroy xbox.

I have been an X-Box fan ever since the first X-Box came out. PS3 ripped everything off the 360 except for the Blue-ray, the only difference. But the blue-ray is S.H.I.T! I go for anything X-Box, plus the PS3 battery life doesn't last as long as the 360's.

Some might. Since the PC has more buttons and the X-Box doesn't. Maybe only some games will.

Yes. Well, COD4 for example, on the X-Box you can't lean.

i would have to go with ps3, i find it a lot easier to play, and i love it how it has no batteries needed to rechange, just a simple usb cable. i love it ps3 ftw :D

I have to say PS3, even though xbox 360 is still great.
Why?
1. Sony has always been loyal to me
2. I grew up with Insomniac Games
3. PS3 has more games that appeal to me - Most of the good games on 360 are Shooting games
4. Reliable hardware
5. Cell Processor
I don't have a PS3 - but saving.

Why xbox 360 is still great..
1. It has good games too
That is all i can think of (even though I have a 360..)

Why the xbox 360 is bad (In My Opinion)
1. Not reliable hardware.
2. Wireless controller uses AA batteries

Why the PS3 is bad (Also In My Opinion)
1. Price, but it is not much more expensive then 360.
2. Not many good games first year
