Ok well I know that this doesn't happen to often but when rs updates if your running a script then it terminates right? So instead of terminating I was wondering if I could add something to a script to make it refresh the page, then select play runescape, etc. etc. and allow your script to keep going. I don't know why this would be difficult to do and it would also allow people to get better proggies if they are going away or something.

A lot of poeple have tough about this. and some have made it. but theres one big think. if there change something you need, then you're screwed. like when the interface updates. Or you're running a chicken killer. and they update the chickens. Or the compass updates, and scar keeps rotating the compass. etc..

We don't want to risk getting banned. So its never really used. I don't care if i woke up and runescape is updated. i do care if my char is banned. Because he was doing stupid stuff cause the chicken gain a other color. ;)

Thats like exactly what I was going to say. Like I'd rather turn my screen on in the morning with the RS screen instead of logging into Account Disabled

Hy, that doesn't really do anything if I am going away for say 3 days. I now know where to put my code though, so tyvm for showing me where to put it. But now all I need is a way for it to find Play Runescape, then Low Detail, and to make it easy I suppose I could just have it click choose the best world for me.

Oh. I didn't know you meant 3 days. If when you sleep you could use this, so when you woke up, your proggy will still be there ;) 400 hour proggies ftw.

well to make it continue the script you would have to make sure to not have a pank pin unless the script cant write in your bank pin as well, other then the difficulty of the in, it should be easy to add something like that into a script, you should go for it

There's probably going to be an update soon. Too bad, I'm running Munk's Forefeathers right now and it's been 28 hours and only 2/11 are false.

yeah its pretty risky along with the fact that ur going to let the script run that long, do u mind if i ask wat u plan to use?

I already am working on a script to close SMART then reload it. My goal is to run a guy 30 days straight, if not longer if all goes well.

And to refresh SMART all u do is call it again to reload, I don't think there is a close SMART procedure.

mm seems more just like a luxury then a need.

This update damaged some scripts…

I made one a while back. I could dig it up. Not sure whether or not it worked, but then Hobbit told me this reason why you shouldn't, as stated by Rikje.

ahh rs updates screw up everythingggg, temporarily.. lol

I think that its probably better to leave it how it is since almost all the times runescape updates srl needs to update as well.
