I downloaded S.M.A.R.T. today, and keep getting a "attack on computer". It keeps saying that it is "HTTP QuickBrowser Activity" coming from top-banners.com….Could it be that S.M.A.R.T. is attacking my computer? Here are the details my anti-virus keeps telling me:
——————————————————–

Risk: HTTP QuickBrowser Activity
Risk Level: High [][][]
Default Action: Block
Action Taken: Block
Attacking Computer: localhost(127.0.0.1, 3283)
Destination Address: www.top-banners.com(193.189.93.14, 80)
Traffic Description: TCP, 3283

——————————————————–

This attempt comes around every 1-2 minutes. I have no clue how to stop it and I do not know if this is coming from S.M.A.R.T. or from some scripts i downloaded recently..I did a scan and it didn't find anything.

Wow, that is a strange message…I have no clue what it is. But maybe delete scripts and stuff one by one using the process of elimination. Or else try reinstalling S.M.A.R.T and then see if it still pops up.

I think that is just the RS ads, since the form uses StealRS…It puts the rs app on top of the ads…

Out2kill, does sucessfully SMART load up?
if not, i'm guessing its just trying to acess the internet,

and your firewall is mistaking it as high risk.

If it comes up right when the java applet of SMART loads up, i'm sure its just SMART trying to access the internet.

If it isnt working, and you want to play it safe, i'd think you could go onto your virus protection program and try to allow SMART to acess the internet. If the high risk bulliton comes up, and SMART loads sucessfully, i'd suggest not let the thing being blocked acess the internet.
(if that makes sense lol, )
good luck

Edit: also, as t3hl33tn00b says, neither SMART or SCAR have any viruses of any kind.

Ok, I went to the website that it said it was coming from and figured it out "thanks to alot of peoples help"…Ok, Runescapes free worlds have a banner or advertisement on each world. The Anti-virus said it came from www.top-banners.com, which I thought "Banners" in the address was probably a site that had hacking tools, cookie trackers, etc. So I looked the site up and found that Runescape uses this site to advertise their website and advertise others for free..So, when I load one of the worlds using SMART, it tries to access these advertisements "probably" and therefore the anti-virus blocks it and takes it as if it is a HIGH threat to the computer.

Thank you, "For EVERYONES advice/help"
