hey guys…what im here for is the detectiveness of SMART. i used smart since it came out and i just got banned. the script i was using was masterkills RICK 4 srl iron banker. ive used this script before w/ out smart and i was not banned for it. ive also autoed before using Jukka's guild miner (7 hour proggy), porky's MAE (one 8 hour proggies and five 3 hour ones) and the classic ChArM's Willow raper (at leats five 6 hour proggies..like 9 months ago. and never got banned..i loved that script) and havent got banned for using those. This was a while ago…ealiest being two months ago. Recently, when i was using Masterkills smart miner, in a matter of like 3 days my account was banned.

If any one else has gotten banned plz post. this way i can see, as well as any1 else, if they have gotten banned. This may also make SRL members to try to fix SMART so this doesnt keep hapenening.

this is becuz of smart! it has to be! i used it on a different account too cuz u guys said it wasnt cuz of smart. try to prove me wrong!

i had .1 before for my offensive lang. i got full 10 marks!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe it wasn't smart? you could just have had really bad luck.
i can tell you how to take a pic:
first you need to find the ban image (which shouldn't be so hard =P), then you press print screen (usually on the top right corner of your keyboard, for me at least). then you open paint and press ctrl+v and you will see your printed picture, then you cut out the image and press ctrl+c, ctrl+n and ctrl+v and just save your picture. then go to google and search for tinypic, and press the first link you see.
then just upload the picture that you made in paint, after uploading you'll see some stuff, copy the one that says ''IMG code for forums..etc.etc..'' and paste it here at the forum ^^.

How many users did u use?:)
If 1 then it's obvius that u get banned after 3 day work. (Depends on Script).
But if u used more, then bad luck. SMART is just like regular RS Client.

That has nothing to do with SMART. As you said yourself you used a different script. You can't expect them all to be good'n'great and give you great progress reports.

SMART is not detectable. It's the scripts/bad luck. I'm thinking the ladder.

You relize Charms uses old commands such as MoveMouse (at least im PRETY sure). Those are very detectable. Plus I highly doubt it had anything to do with SMART.

srry..i forgot to add that wen i used charms its was at least 9 months ago wen old scripts started not to work anymore. im gunna change that.

It is not our resposnsibilty to keep your accounts safe, though many of the scriptes here do care for you, and try to make the best script possible. But no matter what script you use, there is always some way for Jagex to find out.

Using SCAR/SRL/SMART is your own risk to take and we do not encourage posting you bans here.

All of the Devs work hard on their creations, and we would never purposely release anything harmful. Smart has been out in testing phases for a long time and used amongst the devs for months without any major problems. I have a few progs of about 3 days and no bans.

So it is your choice what scripts you choose to use and trust with your accounts, and we are very sorry that you happened to get banned.

But there is nothing wrong/detectable about SMART.
Please do not post any more threads about your banned accounts.

lol i constantly use SMART and i only get banned when i run < 5 player and run it for 4 weeks only stopping on updates :D i have 2 SMARTs running a mage script with 10 char a SMART not a single one has any blackmarks or anything, but if i run that same script with 2 players for 3-4 weeks they both get banned, its a simple fact of the script and the amount of time you use them for and also how frequent other players notice that the same round of players come and go :D

i dont think smart is to blame for ur ban. if smart hadn't come out, you might hav still been baned, and blaming the script, or ScarScape, or anything else. It hurts 2 get banned, and u might wanna blame sum1/sumthin, but u were just doin the right things @ the rite time :P

i know that it might not, but im just saying that wen i used those other scripts…which was around 1-2 months ago, i didnt get banned for those. but wen i started using SMART, which i used sporratcaly throughout the day..like an an hour at a time…i got banned like three dats after. wen i show pic it will show what i mean.

u say that SRL does not wantin us to post our bans…wen i read the rules i didnt see anything about postinmg bans..could u point that out? ANd i dont mean to demean all the work that went into making SMART but im just warning the SRL community that SMART can ban ur account. I didnt think it was just a coninsidance that i got banned for using SMART and not get banned for getting 8 hour and 7 hour proggies for one guy at a time. i also never got banned once using normal SRL getting those massive proggies.

im npot 100 percent positive that SMART was the reason of my ban. but it just seemed like it. in my picture, it showed that i got banned yesterday (fed 8) after constanly using SMART. And NEVER before have i gotten banned for using reg scripts. Never, for all the time i have, never. Thats y i was mad wen i heard that SMART was undectable, and somehow i got banned practically immediatly after using of it.

U guys keep saying its just bad luck, but i think it could be, even if its just a little, that SMART is detectable.

but it also coulld have been i used it one guy for hours at a time. the thing is ive done that before and i havent got banned. but i doubt ill use smart on that accoutn again. but i willl try it on my wc acount using mutiple ppl. thats what i didnt do before.

but most of u guys are saying that i think SMART is not good and that noone should use it. I personlly loved the idea of smart, being able to do hmwrk and auto…nothing could be better than that. this is just a warning telling ppl that they might get banned, and if tthey take that chance, they may lose that account

EXACTLY what I said before…Hy your script does get a lot of people banned as well. I know MK and Mick might have coordclicking but I was saying at the time your script has gotten way more people banned.

Auto-responders would be one thing, if an autoer leaves the responses the same as the creator of the script made them, then it is almost a giveaway when there is a response.

In short, Jagex is watching us closer than ever before, and therefore more people are getting banned.

I totaly agree with you. that's why i placed the auto responds and stuff IN the script setup. but i guess some people are just to lazy to edit them. i might just let them open next time so they have to fill them in.

very very possible…but u say that is why ppl are getting banned…for all that i know…i was the only one banned so far..unless someelse has said they have..idk

You were the only one known to be banned so far, because most other people have become used to the idea of being banned. You said that you last scar'ed on a huge scale around 9 months ago. A couple of months ago, jagex said they were going to start their 'anti-cheaters' campaign. Nowadays, people get banned much quicker, so you have to be very discreet with everything. You haven't said the level of the characters you were using, so I'm assuming they were a low level. Often, when people see a level 6 or 7 and below sitting there chopping trees for half an hour+, it does get a bit suspicious as mainly experienced players take up wc'ing etc. to earn money, while new players generally prefer the fighting aspect. Also, players ahve generally become more aware of the macroing aspect to the game, making them much more vigilant - especially when they are long term players and believe macroing is 'ruining' the game.
In regards to SMART, all it is RS opened up in a different window at heart. It is completely undetectable, however the script is not, even when just running it for 10 minutes. The longer you run it, the more detectable it is.

IMO:
MK's script uses coord-clicking = Ban
Hy's script can and is abused, people run it for 100 hours on one char = Ban, not the scripts fault.

Anywho, SMART can't be the cause of your ban in any way. It's always the scripts fault, or the one who set it up.

Fyi, the offense date is the date you got banned, not the date of the actual offense. And they always ban you a few weeks after they caught you.
I got a 14 day mute in december, offense day said december too, for something I said in october.

With SMART, more people auto.
Imagine there is a chance of 1:200 you will get banned. Before there were 400 accounts autoing. 400 / 200 = 2 bans.
Now with SMART, 1600 people are autoing. 1600 / 200 = 8 accounts banned.
That's what is causing the more bans I think.

i'll stick with the idee jagex is making dubble checks. couse many people stopped playing runescape after the the last updates.
of course more people 'll start auting with smart, but i don't think smart made more winz YET then rs made loses.
So IMO we need to be more carefull now. i'll start with getting the "coord clicking" out of my script (since people got problems with that) and i'll add more humanlike procedures aka functions. we have to be invissible :D

so many people use it and i heard that 2? people got banned with it? IMO that's not bad at al couse the script has been used for more then 2 years and has mined 4million iron ores.

I've had one ban, 10 day, used my script and SMART for like 3 months… its no SMART mate. I simply got greedy and needed 1 player to have all logs - 30-50 hours pretty much round the clock = BANNED.

Just auto smarter ok?

Dude use your head! Once u get one account banned Jagex could have been keeping your IP or all of your accounts on watch, It wouldnt be "SMART" to use S.M.A.R.T. After you got a offence. Your account was on watch dude, Get it through ur head!

Ok this should be locked…Just to sum everything up though.

SMART is NOT detectable as it does not modify anything.
You only get banned from using detectable scripts OR using scripts improperly (Over use)

I've never been banned EVER on Runescape and I've used SMART since it came out for SRL Members.

Edit: WCing is easy to train…It only takes a week to get to level 60 with my WCer (Probably outdated now though)

Ever stop and think that, hmm, maybe it is because I have been using THE SAME SCRIPT for so long? It is advisable to mix up the scripts you use, even if it is for the same task. I.E., use Player1 Iron Miner for a few days, then begin to use Player2 Iron Miner, so that it your chance for ban is decreased drastically.
