4 black marks added to account today for breaking Rule 7. I was using SCAR 3.12e with SRL rev10. No offense to Narcle, but I was running Narcle's Advance Autofighter quite excessively (about 10 hours at a time with 8 hour breaks). I was never caught in a random event due to the "log out every 9 minutes" option. I never said anything offensive to anyone, although I did carry conversations with friends when I happened to be on runescape myself.

I am banned for 10 days.

I know a friend of mine who was so obsessed with runescape that she played it 10 hours a day for about a week or so, and did nothing but woodcutting and banking. She got banned for breaking Rule 7 and her account was locked permanently.

Yeah, 10 hours is a long time. Try using multiple accounts and limiting the amount of time each one is logged in per session or per day.

And as your friend found out, doing the same task repetitively for a long period of time is all Jagex can do to catch autoers.

thats the first black mark from rule 7 i've "heard" since the offence chance, i run a cheap 99 mage auto service for other people. and my best custemer was being autoed (delet random.dat every lost connection..etc) for over 80 hours straight, and he only got 0.5 black mark and 10 day ban…..

ALWAYS STAY AROUND THE COMPUTER IF YOU ARE AUTOING ON MAIN (NO SLEEPING), YOU CAN ONLY GO AWAY IF YOU ARE USING LVL 3 ARMY..ETC)

I agree with lakerzz. SRL was meant for multi-player; use it. Although I can't really speak from experience as I've never been banned since the old Aryan days haha, but every time I auto, I use multi.

I got banned for 10 days for breaking rule 7 and just got .5 black marks

dammit, I was perm banned and i didn't auto for like 3 weeks. -_-

No blackmarks or bans knock on wood

4 bans due to iBot…other than that, no bans :-)

Lately jagex has given quite many 10 day bans :/

I havent got caught yet and Ive been autoing about +15 h per day with hy's fight caver :)

Appeals like that, sadly, rarely work. You need to hit key words in the appeal since most of them are automated. I already tried saying stuff like I have been playing a lot (when I got banned for using an auto clicker before my SRL days), and that appeal was instantly denied.

I got 7.5 for breaking Rule 7 on my first autoed account :) after that .. I created the Girly Army. They don't have a single black mark :p

Oh noo, just ran forest frostbite on one character for 12 hour + :eek:

wow. The fact that I WAS in control at the time of offense (breaking Rule 7) leads to a ban. WTF.

(btw, Rule 7 states that the user is using third-party software and is NOT present at the computer)

I told you your appeal would be denied. And by in control of your account they mean that your account was not stolen and abused by someone else. Sorry to hear that it was denied, but next time search around the forums, a few people have posted appeals that have worked. Most of the time they include words like Andrew Gower, Jagex, Runescape, I am black, sue, lawsuit, etc.

I think I posted it somewhere. I had an account with 63 blackmarks and I got one of the appeals by saying I am black and will sue.

Then I tried another appeal by saying BLACK marks are racist and should be changed to WHITE marks. That appeal was denied.

But yeah, use every possible thing to your advantage, Runescape is a big company and doesn't want issues regarding racism, sexual harassment, lawsuits, etc. Most of the time it probably won't work, but when it does, woohoo!

Hey that makes 2 of us, I got a 10 Day ban- 0.5 Black Marks on my Main who has accumulated 7 Black Marks, My ban was from using Hy's BEASTLY Fight Caves Runner for 16+ Hours a day.

I'm currently running 4 bots using Munks Chicken killer, Have ran them about 8 hours a day and they are currently all at 25/25/25 attk,str,def and not a single blackmark
