SRL Archive - S.M.A.R.T. Questions and Answers.

I'm pretty sure I messed something up today while i was attempting to set up SMART so if anyone has any idea how to help or should I just start over? The error I get is:

[Runtime Error] : Exception: Access violation at address 019C10AB in module 'Embedded SMART.dll'. Read of address 000006DC in line 47 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.14\includes\smart.scar

I just attached them I hope thats ok :)

Post your SRL.scar, Smart.scar, and script what you were trying to run here.
I know what the problem is, but, can't explain…:p

You mean Srl as in the scar script file? do u just want me to past it on or attach it somehow? sry im kinda new to this

Please post (copy+paste, use scar tags) SRL.scar and SMART.scar, and, if possible, the script.

I attached them on my first post i hope that works just let me know if it won't

i got something Ricks srl Varrock East Miner loads smart scar and everything i look back at scar it says on the Login Tab it makes

[Runtime Error] : Exception: Access violation at address 0071FDA0 in module 'scar.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFFC in line 227 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.14\includes\SRL/SRL/Core/Login.scar

line 227 looks like this

WriteFileString(TheFile, Chr(13) + 'Current player: '+ UpperCase(Players[CurrentPlayer].Name) + Chr(13)); //* Save NAME to file

In Smart.scar I don't have that DEFINE thing at the top and it works fine for me. Maybe that's it :)

I don't have anything different in SRL.scar, so I'm guessing the define thing at the top of Smart.scar was the problem. If taking that out doesn't work try using Scar 3.12 or 3.13 instead of 3.14 (I use 3.12 and haven't had any problems).

It should be because you're StartPlayer is bigger than HowManyPlayers
