Well, this tutorial is for adding a simple delay popup msg, just to give the script time to wait for the RS applet to load before it starts. Once the applet has loaded you can click the "Accept" button.

Step 1

Copy this procedure somewhere in your script.

procedure DelayMsg;
begin
ShowMessage('Are you ready to start the script?' +Chr(13)+
+'Click below when the rs Applet' +Chr(13)+ ' has loaded.');
end;

Step 2
Find your Main Loop at the end of the script and at the top of the loop
add this:

DelayMsg;

Thats it. Hope it helps.
First tut btw.

I was gona add something like this to my script, then I just switched from unsigned to signed. I figured since I'v autoed all my life on my main signed and never got banned, they should be fine. But now I still put a 5 second wait after my Intro; procedure.

i did the tut.. and i added the DelayMsg; into the lop… im not sure if i placed it correctly..
when i run script the DelayMsg; procedure does not begin and it does not WriteIn in the status thing below… it just says..

Successfully compiled
Successfully executed

then it says script finished.. after that the SMART browser tihng opens and it loads but the script is "finished"

Then you haven't scripted it properly. Have you made sure to include the procedure 'DelayMsg' in your main loop (the begin to end. bit at the bottom) and have you only got SMART in your script as if you have, then only that will run. Also, if you added SMART in yourself, make sure you used end[b[; and not end. as if you used a . it will end your script prematurely thus stopping it from doing anything else.

i added delaymsg thing in the loop..

Not a smart idea when it's in the repeat (like:)

Program New;

procedure DelayMsg;
begin
ShowMessage('Are you ready to start the script?' +Chr(13)+
+'Click below when the rs Applet' +Chr(13)+ ' has loaded.');
end;

procedure Dostuff;
begin
writeln('Stuff');
end;

{Mainloop}
begin
repeat
DelayMsg;
DoStuff;
until(false);
end.

Mainloop should be:

begin
DelayMsg;
repeat
DoStuff;
until(false);
end.

(Just in case :))
