Everyone has their opinions on which game they like better or certain aspects in one over the other. RS and WoW are completely different setups. Personally they shouldn't be compared to each other. RS uses the IE browser just like 1000s of other free online games, unlike WoW which is bought separately and has its own core system.

Wow, that's pretty harsh coming from a guy who probably never had sex himself and plays the game made by these "nerds". Andrew Gower is a millionaire and that alone is enough to get him laid. I don't understand why people hate on Jagex so much but if they decided to shut down the game half of you would begin crying.

I agree, except RS isn't just run in IE, it can be played on any browser that supports Java. But comparing Runescape and WoW isn't really fair because Runescape is supposed to have worse graphics so that it can be played with just a web browser and little memory.

I like COD2 (Call of Duty 2) Multiplayer :D. I pwn at it. It's sorta like CS.

runescape graphic's are rubbish, but it's very very very addictive.

If WoW was free, I would bet my grande ass that RuneScape would be deserted in one day, and the WoW servers would be flooded.
RuneScape might be the best F2P game, but it's P2P-gameplay is billions of levels lower than the one in World of Warcraft.

And now we're at it, let's take a looksy at the staff, shall we?

The RuneScape-Staff (AKA Jagex. Also spelt Jasex, Jesus, Fagex, GaySex, etc.):
> Lie to their customers.
> Make shitty updates
> Pretend to have detection-software against cheaters.
> Never act on reported players

The World of Warcraft-staff (AKA Blizzard):
> Fix bugs every week, balance the gameplay
> They don't make huge updates to stop cheaters, but rather do not update so the honest players stay content.
> Actually HAVE anti-cheat-software
> Know their game
> 24/7 quick access to help.

I'm actually about to begin playing World of Warcraft again, along with 2 friends. And BTW! I forgot to add the most important thing: WoW's gamers are way more mature than the RS-players.

Ive played ALOT of games, and by far Counterstrike is the best followed by runescape, i love the whole medival theme, its engenious, but i love the part were you can use scar more :sasmokin:

Guild Wars is better, in my honest opinion.

It's a free game, and has graphics that are about as good as WoW.

I honestly think that when rs had pking, staking, no trade limits etc, it was the best game.

I can just barely stand to call runescape 'Decent". It's a pretty shitty game, and can't even be compared to P2P RPGs such as WoW.

I'm going to be perfectly honest: The only reason I started playing Runescape was to level up and sell my account on eBay. It was not a fun game. Very repetitive, it's just I had that want to get to the next level and earn mills.

Eurostylz I'm with you, I bought cs 1.6 for 3m rs gp and love the game. So TECHNICALLY cs is the best f2p game ;).

So technically, this is how you spell technically.

Also, it is not even fair to compare the p2p runescape to WoW because I am pretty sure WoW isn't 5 dollars a month.

I'm a witness to that, because I used to play WoW, if only there was a way we could teach runescapers to be more mature….

If Jagex actually enforced the age requirement somehow by letting us report anyone who says they are under 13. I recently came across a player who was like 7. They can barely read but here they are playing Runescape. D'oh!

But some of those players are amazing because one they dont auto and 2 they have a LONG attention span when they play games, i met a 99wcer who was 10:eek:

i tried to work it on a cow and chickens but it just sat there and did nothing

Is that good? Who cares that a 10 year old can get 99 wc. That's not good. He's only 10 and already addicted to the internet and the computer. If he doesn't die of a heart attack then he will surely be alone his whole life.
