Uhh I believe that one is from deviantart, my background changes pretty constantly so I dont really remember. It's usually from deviantart or stockExchange

tightVNC is just the name of that viewer. I use it cause its free and they develop new stuff all the time

Go to download.com and Search "The Extractor" its the extractor I use for RAR and ZIP. It's hella fast and simple. I love it. (It's also free).

Really? My math says not.

Photoshop = $600
Maya = $300
Some other programs that are less than $100 do not make $9000-10000

Your looking at Maya 8.5 Complete which is now $300. This is Maya 8.5 Unlimited. Maya 8.5 Unlimited was retail $7000-8000 when released, it is now around $5000-6000. So thats where the confusion comes in.

Also, I don't have in that picture Real Flow, which is about $2700 retail price.

I have Nvidia dual view setup so that each monitor acts as a different desktop.

There could be a setting somewhere with your graphics that allows desktop changing. Not sure exactly, mines under the nvidia control panel.

It your running stretched desktops just combine the two images together so that they split on each monitor.

I love it, it's fast, easy to use and uses extremely little space (not hard drive space but the toolbar is only ~70px in height!) :O
So for everybody out there using slow, ugly firefox; Try Chrome for a day and see if you like it, if not then uninstall it. :)

I bested you in CPU calcs/sec and tied on HDD section (just a 500gb WD, nothing special). BUT I can't beat your GTX 295 :'<

No, I don't own either of those games, and no, Borderlands isn't worth the money. I don't know what Dragon Age costs, but it's damn good IMO.

When I used Vista, it took 2/3 GB to turn on :| Linux uses 200. Xp (on a vm) says 150 - 200.

I have just found out that my memory stick was bad. Hense the 2gb not working.. Haha…

Is it worth getting dual monitors ? Wondering about getting a second 22" screen.

I actually used the dual monitors a lot when I had smaller CRT monitors. I was able to manager easily with a single 21.5" LCD though. I found the 2 17" LCDs in the trash, so I hooked them up for a bling factor (I also don't pay for electricity). I use the second monitor fairly often if I have to have 2 programs side by side. The third monitor almost never gets used.

Because MSI is going to take over the world!

not sure what you mean here, but I'll throw out some info.
You just plug in 2 monitors into your comp (assuming you have 2 video outs on it, I have 4, and am running three monitors).
For windows, just plug them in, and then you just need to get to your display settings in the control panel and "change display settings" to set it up.
It should be basically plug and play in Win7, winxp is really easy too though.

It's basically like one large screen, you just drag programs from one monitor to the other, or anywhere in between.

But when you click maximize, the program will be maximized on the screen the program is currently on. Not both. (Same goes for fullscreen programs)

wait… chords??? either that setup is run out of the wall, or it's a nice wireless setup with compact power chording.. I like the setup though.. I would set up a few of those if I had the money… … .. but if I had the money I would also improve my living situation, setup a better server room, work more with my coding, and host legit parties.

I use four monitors at work - wouldn't develop with anything less.

1 - email/documentation
3 - VS2010/documentation

I only have one monitor, but I use a tiled window manager - so I don't really need more than two.

Also, can't move icons off my desktop due to IT Group settings :( Can only move the two icons at the very bottom off.
